Default Stackable buffs and group heals?

Does anyone know if there's a comprehensive list of which buffs and healing abilities stack? I've just fired up my Rift accounts for the first time and I'm trying to figure things out.

I'm looking to start a tanky PvP group (+1 respec-able tank for PvE) with lots of ranged damage and AoE healing, so the first place I looked was some kind of tank and a bunch of Chloromancers. However, after reading the forum here, it seems like their primary group healing abilities don't stack. Another example, I've read several people here recommend multiple bards that sounded good. However, I read on the Rift forum that their buffs (including the regeneration "motif") don't stack - and also that their damage is poor. I've never played Rift before, but I've read a fair bit and it seems those are the only two options for ranged DPS with passive AoE healing? Someone point me in the right direction if I'm wrong!

It would be awesome if someone who's played the game for a while could compile a table of what stacks with what.

    Cheers!

There's already a list out there compiled by a non-boxer. Bluedots is the author ... check the rift forums or google it to get to his site.

As far as 4 chloros go, their group healing buffs don't stack, but you can Synthesis other chloros which WILL cause you to heal them (for a ridiculous amount as well).

Im running a balanced group with a chloromancer/archon and cleric. This brings very effective tank and party healing along with tons tons of buffs. i bring another elementalist/Stormcaller mage that brings a spell power buff to the party that stacks with the chloro/archon buffs and then a ranger/marks/assasin. if i had it to do all over again as nice as the ranger is to dps the ele/stormcaller mage puts out an easier rotation and better numbers then the rogue.

For buffs to stack or not stack any hour long buff that increases a stat doesnt stack with any other hour long buff that increases the same stat. an archon can provide all the buffs shy of an endurance and speed buff but they have one that increases dext/wis/str/int which you would have to have 2 bards to cover those stackable buffs. If your wanting a good synergy i would do warrior/cleric/mage(chloro/archon)/mage dps x 2.

what do you mean their group healing buffs do not stack? if each chloromancer has lifegiving veil on they will heal the party from the damage they do its not a castable buff they put on the party its a buff they put on them selves. so yes 4 chlormancer is insane aoe healing . i acutally do it on a few boss fights so i dont have to worry about the mechanics of the fight and just out heal the party damage.

Lifegiving veil doesn't stack for the chloros, you cannot receive healing from OTHER people's lifegiving veils.

    i.e.

    Two chloros in a group...
Chloro 1 will heal everyone including himself but Chloro 2
Chloro 2 will heal everyone including himself but Chloro 1

    @Alemi

Cheers for the suggestion. That site will make deciding on a group much simpler.

Still undecided on what kind of ranged healer group to run. I haven't seen many people suggest Clerics for DPS/healer groups? Is there some reason they're inferior to Chloro's and Bards for boxing?

Chloros and bards get passive healing linked to DPS (although chloros are much superior IMO); clerics require active healing (which can be macroed/spammed in some cases). In my mixed group I have both a cleric and a chloro.

^ ya i run cleric to main heal and use the chloro/archon which isnt the highest output for chloro to be healing but it brings great buffs for the group. its more support/heals then heals. bards with their motifs having to be refreshed and short range on cadence i perfer a chloro/archon over a bard any day boxing.

I was under the impression that Cleric classes could gain passive healing from their damage, similar to Chloro/Bard by speccing 11 points into Justicar for Reparation? Though, I'm not sure how well 10% of damage scales compared to Bard or Chloro healing. Obviously, the healing would be less.. but from the videos I've seen, Inquisitors seem to do significantly more damage than Chloros?

I'm also really liking the look of building a group around a couple of Cabalists with improved Maelstrom. I boxed a PBAE group with AoE pull in WAR and it was devastating in PvP. Again, not sure how well it would translate to Rift, though.

Also, I just noticed that site doesn't mention whether or not DoT's / HoT's stack. IE: If two or more different characters cast the same DoT/HoT on the same target, do they stack?

Clerics can but it requires melee and with no iwt makes it hard to do melee characters. Speciallly with all the movment needed in experts.hots and dots stack just hot and shield procs from same item but diffrent peopple however do not.

Chloro are main healers they can heal an expert solo so ofcourse their damage isn't very high I think I pull 250 dps on my chloro.
