For the record, I beat Knytestorm by about 12 hours or so in re posting the content that was removed. The reason I re posted the content was to teach someone a lesson in the fact that once you post something to the Internet, it's there forever. The OP that removed his content has a history in his short time here of pumping and dumping. Pumping his ego with whatever his current conquest of the hour is, and dumping on anyone that tries to contradict him. That kind of thing doesn't sit well with me, nor should it sit well with any of you.
We're all here to share information and learn from each other and share in our victories and conquests. He wasn't doing anything someone else couldn't go do. There were no crazy secrets or strategies that anyone couldn't get from somewhere else or from a lot of practice. There was no reason to retract his post aside from being a childish attention whore. His reaction was quite exactly what I was expecting. I'm fine with it. If you stay around online communities long enough, you'll see quite a few people like this. They come and go with some frequency.
I'm never outside of public criticism. I've taken a hard stance against a few people that just try to instigate crap, but that's not the case here. I depend on the criticism to gauge how well I'm doing my job here. I'm not perfect, I never try to be. My goal here has always been to protect the community from the douche bags of the world. There was nothing imprudent about my actions. It was a calculated action. I expected the outcome and I wasn't surprised when what I expected came to pass.
Thanks for your comments. This was no incident of injustice of Admin VS User.
