Default Mouselook issues on multiple PCs

Anyone else use multiple PCs with ISB? Do you have issues with using mouselook causing the 2nd PC's active game window's camera to spin around madly while mouselook-broadcasting unless you put focus on a non-game window? If so, have you found a consistent workaround? I posted a thread over on the ISB forums but haven't heard much in a few weeks. It gets annoying when you realize one guy isn't casting or misses a quest confirmation/loot because his camera was looking off into space.

Just wondering if anyone else had a suggestion on a better workaround assuming it's not getting fixed anytime soon.

With what game? It should work just fine.

Are you using Synergy for KVM? If so, switch to Input Director to get rid of mouse issues like this

My apologies. I thought that info was in the other thread but I dropped the ball. /redface

I'm using Input Director and playing Rift on two Win7 machines, main is 64bit, alt is 32bit.

[edit] It's 100% repeatable so I'll be happy to try different things and provide feedback.

Just so it's obvious what I'm talking about:

Anyone else here run multiple PCs with Rift + ISBoxer? Trying to find out if Lax's latest tweaks are broken on mine only or if other folks can corroborate what I'm seeing.

I'd appreciate anyone confirming this or another multiple-PC setup that does work properly and with what ISBoxer build.

I recall this happening ocassionally if I cancelled mouse broadcasting while a mouse button was still being held down. I'm not 100% sure if this is the cause though.

Yeah, that's not the case here.

it has to do with the way the mouse movements are sent. the problem shouldnt exist with relative mouse motion but when absolute coordinates are used the spinning problem exists because of the way some games handle mouselooking by constantly repositioning the cursor (which you never see because the cursor goes away when you mouselook). so turn on relative mouse movement if the software offers it, otherwise you may be out of luck.

I use a hybrid system connecting my keybaord/mouse to my 6 computers with hardware and then isboxer to connect the clients to each other per computer.

This will of course eliminate your problem.

Check my signature over this week I am working on selling a usb splitter (be about $60 per computer including both the mouse and keyboard) and should get results soon. Limitations are the computers cannot send info to the keybaord/mouse (i.e. G15 screens) and they cannot be shut off (i.e. you always send keypresses to all computers) (although there is free software that will shut off all keyboard commands to your computer).
