But you should check with your ISP first to see what type of modems they support, hate to see you buy a modem and find out your ISP does not support the modem or its features.

My very good friend works for the cable company. Whether its DSL, Cable, Wired, Wireless, 24K or 160K... they're all crap. Even the most expensive cable modems out for public purchase have the same warranty as the el'cheap-o's. The number 1 killer of modems is heat. And how many modems do you see that have fans?? Only the commercial ones for rack systems.
Im in total agreement with burningforce. Call your ISP.
