ive chosen to use 3 mages to 85, then transfer on my main account to my 4th and use my main mage in my team,

question is what would be more viable/fun frost or fire?

I'm pretty new to multiboxing and I guess in a way pretty new to wow but after trying both fire and frost I found it easier to do more dps with fire. Not tried arcane yet though.

are all your mages spec'ed to arcane, and do they all just basically spam arcane blast?

I was thinking of giving up the 5 boxing, but now ive seen your videos i cant resist giving it a go

Yeah, the specs differ a bit on master than on slaves.

Arcane Tactics increases dmg done by 3% and affects whole party, so no need to have it on every mage.
Also Nether Vortex 2/2 could be just on one mage, but there's nothing much where you could spend the "freed" 4x2 points.. For AoE maybe..

pvp arcane works pretty well at lvl 85
