    Default Starting a boxing team

Was pondering starting/working on a 5man team. I thought I might box at some point when I started so already have a couple accounts with lvl 50s on them.

I also have a lvl 22 cleric and warrior on these accounts.

What I thought I would do is get 3 new accounts. Then start up 2 mages and a rogue. Get them to around lvl 17 and then I would have my starting team of

lvl 22 warrior 22 cleric 17 mage 17 mage 17 rogue . From this point on I thought I would mostly level in instances. Once I got them in range(so I could still queue via the LFG) I swap in my 2 lvl 50s and continue on.

I've 5 boxed in WoW and enjoyed it.

    Some questions though.

    1) In terms of difficulty would I be better of trying to keep the dps all the same or does it matter much.
    2) How do the T1s and T2s compare to the Cata heroics in terms of ease of boxing (I had gotten a couple Cata heroics cleared before I quit WoW)

Thanks for any thoughts/tips from those 5 boxing rift.

The rogue will force you to add a second key to clear the combo points. This is not very difficult . If the rogue is melee based it could be a bit hard getting positioning right but a Sabo or marksman build works about the same as the mages anyway from a boxing standpoint.

I was thinking sab, thought for aoe and with incriminate it might be nice to help out when needed with rounding mobs to the tank. Though if mages might be easier could just stick with warrior/cleric mage x3.

    I run warrior/cleric/rogue/mage/mage. They are 39 atm.

My only advice would be to make at least one of the mages a chloro for the passive healing and keep the rogue ranged - I use ranger/marks/'sinn. Cleric is still my active healer in instances but can DPS (ranged) when questing. I've had few problems with instances so far.

I am running a warrior tank (Paladin/Reaver/Warlord), cleric healer, mage chloro/warlock for passive heals and 2 x rogues.

Currently the rogues are spec'd melee and I find it easier for questing but in instances I find it easier to park all but the tank at distance and DPS away.

I have key setup for the combo point finishers as well as video feeds so I know when I need to use them.

It would have been easier if I had 3 of the same type DPS but this setup works well for me, now that I have gotten use to it.

They are between 37-39 in levels.

i run warrior tank cleric healer chloro mage mage dps ranger dps. what i did was make target action groups for each one then made mapped keys for each one a single target rotation. so i dont have to worry about the rogues finishers. his rotation has a 1.5second pause between each step and builds his 5 combo points and then uses a finisher in the step my rogue is pulling 700-900 single target dps.

I was contemplating doing this on the weekend but time did not permit me to try it out.
Glad it works out in theory and practice.

    I also have TAG setup.
