Ive done it, but dont remember exactly what it is now. I was pressing stuff like SHIFT+CTRL+ALT and randomly hitting letters.

Well, that question is a matter of opinion.

some people swear by Titan pannel. Some by X-Pearl. Some dont use any extra UIframe.

Personally,
I cant live without Grid; Decursive; Jamba; _NPCScan; DBM; Auctioneer; Postal

Everything else to me is a waste of memory.

Started boxing in January of this year. Here's my first group, which I've only played off and on since then. The UI is FreeUI which I've modified to my liking.

This is exactly what I expected from people who control 4+ toons at once. A logicly organized, clean, beautiful UI. Wish I still had my accounts active, although mine looks much like the rest of yours. the only icons on my screen are the ones that have a CD. Lightning bolt, Res, hearth, all the other crap is all hidden. Important info ONLY.


This is what I expect the screen of most of those lovely Pugers I could never stand looks like.

I actually have a very basic set of addons with the std UI for when I solo box raid with my regular guild. I downloaded the LUI yesterday after work.

Immediately hated it. Lag-a-palooza!!

But enough of you use it, that I was determined to make it work and give it a fair stab.

Heres the result. (simple testing with my solo Pally)



Everything is running, except OMEN. Since Im usually multiboxing a full team, I should know whos got aggro... and the group I raid with solo healing, are players whos been here since Vanilla... I.e. they arent so stupid to over take the tank in aggro anyway.
Added Decursive, Auctioneer, and Postal.

After 7.5 hrs of reconfiguring font sizes, repositioning and anchoring some windows, fixing the lag issue with an update to the new Recount, setting up DBM again, figuring out the damn side bar stuff, Ive decided I really like this layout.

I just wish the health bar was green, and would fade to yellow, to red, like the std ui does. The grey background messes me up, and I dont see other party members dying as easily as before.


Point of clarification.... I played around with the game and settings for 7.5 hrs. NOT tried to get it to work for 7.5 hrs. I had it working just fine in 10 mins. I just liked to mess with all the options... yano Font stuff, box moves, add a few more addons im more accustomed to... and ran about 10 or so dungeons? something like that.
