PC Builders on the east coast?

If you prefer to buy the system than assemble the system, definitely check out the smaller vendors in your area.

In the Richmond (Vancouver, BC) area, the small stores offer way better pricing than the larger chains.
Maybe it is because of less overhead or less greed, not sure.
The guy my roommate deals with (will sell parts or an assembled system), will match the price on any other local store.

Thx for the tips guys. i was pricing stuff on newegg and found a lot of the same items were cheaper at micro Center in Fairfax Va ( about a 20 minute drive from me) Ill be buying on Tuesday..so ill check pricing again. The only reason im thinking about a builder.. is they warranty the work and parts. Also with some of the sales they have been having.. i could not find the parts for much less than what they can build and warranty it for. i think i can save 150 if i do it myself ( for the parts i looked up anyway )
