Looking for a new Desktop to box.

So im currently running 3 toons on an ASUS G51 laptop.(world of warcraft)
4gb ram.
geforce gtx260M 1g video mem.
intel 2.

I do get lag only running 3 copies. and thats on good to low graphics settings.

The most i want to box is 5 toons at once. And as much as i like to think im computer smart im not THAT smart.
Im looking for a desktop or even a laptop at a reasonable price. Pref under 1000 dollars. That can smoothly run 5 copies. I was currently looking at this if anyone can tell me its decent. http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/system/C..._Configurator/

Just by quickly looking at the computer you linked the CPU and RAM are perfectly fine. You might prefer a little
more power on your video card than a dinky 520. I would probably suggest a 560 or 560Ti at the least because
anything below that is starting to fall into the "value" or "generic" category.

Even a 550Ti might get you where you want to be but even then I believe it would choke in high populated
areas. You can see here that the 550Ti is near the bottom of those charts and a 520 would fall below that --
that's why I say get a 560. That benchmark in particular does not specifically handle World of Warcraft but I
use it as an example of how many FPS a video card can put out.

You can also use those benchmarks to maybe pick out an ATI card. I am currently partial towards nVidia so I
now nothing about ATI at all and cannot help with that.

Also, that motherboard shows that it has 2x PCIe slots @ 16x and 4x which means you'll be sorta kinda limited
to using only one video card for gaming with that system (even though it's labeled as "Crossfire"). This isn't a
big deal at all since it's highly recommended to only use 1 video card while multiboxing. This is most likely
nothing you would really need to worry about so you can practically disregard this paragraph.

I may have missed something somewhere and I'm sure others will catch it and add what they know.

What you had linked looked fine for what you wanted to do except for the video card. The problem I have with
building a lower-end budget system is that I still tend to use the name brand manufacturers that I really like
because I know they will provide me with higher quality components and in the end... the build is no longer a
budget system.

Me piecing together a system on Newegg was still going to come out slightly over $1000 before shipping and
any applicable taxes. System builder sites are probably able to give you a better price on the lower-end
systems as a whole packaged deal because they purchase those components in bulk (I would assume) giving
them the ability to lower their prices overall.

While I'm sure I could piece together a cheap-o computer using Newegg components I don't feel comfortable
recommending brands that I've never used before.

500W might be cutting it close. They offer a $4 upgrade to a 600W PSU or a $14 upgrade to a 700W PSU.
