Yeah I don't get Tweeting either. And after having to work with their very lame api to integrate Tweeter into an IPhone app I worked on, I really hate them. But hey I followed anyway. Maybe I will log into Tweeter now more than once every 6 months.

How exactly is asking that someone explain the point of twitter for an already "as live as you want to be" community "hating"? Now, if I said twitter is for attention-starved morons with no self-esteem who can't put together a coherent thought, that would be hating.

I'm possibly half your age and I don't get it either. So It definitely doesn't have to do anything with age.
