I play 5s around the same day and time. I tend to run into the same teams a lot. After a while, they learn my strengths and weaknesses, so wins are becoming harder to get. The ninja-nerf hot fix didn't help either.

I've been tweaking my setup, gear, strategies and keybinds. I can't seem to push further than 1800 with my team. The oponnets simply have too much healing and CC.

A new approach my team has been taking is to have the paladin do aura mastery followed by bubble. This gives him 20 seconds of free casting. During this time, he focuses on cleanse when my guys get rooted. At the same time, I do my cooldown so I don't take much damage. It seems to work fairly well, but if we can't kill someone in the first 30 seconds, we have nothing left.
Try this... this is what got me to 1950 and apparently i was using the wrong keyset the other night when i was playing (since i did some boosting i switched what turned on and off)

    Button 1 = focus on 2 dks
    Button 2 = focus on 2 dks
Button 3 = silence button sent to DK1 + DK3 and a do not continue for 5 seconds part put on it and then they do it again
    Button 4 = same as above but for dk 2 + 4

I put button 3 and 4 into my spam rotation, i pick out their first healer when gates open and focus on 2 dks, and if they don't have another healer i target a caster based dps to silence on the other two.

This gives you approximately 9 seconds of silence for their two healers or one healer + dps. If you can't kill someone in 10 seconds then you won't ever be able to kill them with healer on them. Blow all your runes fast and use your burst macro. While doing this spam the shit out of hungering cold if it is against a melee cleave.

Have a mouseover stun on your paladin and during the first few seconds blow your cooldowns. If the opposing team has a warrior kill it first, if it has a priest healer the mass dispel can't be used due to silence.

The main idea is to interrupt as much damage being done to you and do as much damage to them as possible during the first 10 seconds of the fight. If you can't get 1 person down by the time the healer comes up then you lose. If they are a double healer comp you are best to kill the healer you silence (non paladin) as soon as their first dps dies.

NEXT SEASON: I won't be running with a healer at all. I talked to MOSG about what i'm doing and if it works out for me i'll post about it.
