I honestly doubt you'll need to pay anyone, there's alot of info, and helpful posters on these forums

I have gotten SEVERAL PMs from people lately asking for help with BASIC questions. I don't mind chatting with people - but c'mon - I am not your personal multiboxing guide. *I* had to figure it all out myself. I did and pretty much tell you exactly what I did to box. If you want to take that and modify it, feel free. But I am not willing to personally walk people through every step of it, for free, day in and day out. Sorry

I don't mind helping people out (as evidenced by my EXTENSIVE guides and posts here).

But now that my setup is live, I will not have as much time to devote to assisting other players. I would like to level up, etc. Really though, 95%+ of what you need is already out there. I don't mind helping with really tricky problems but if you need help setting up macros or knowing what a Vetra multicaster is.... well... you will need to ask other forum members.

Plus, considering my setup runs well into the 5 figure range, and I put all of what I have put online out there completely for free, $50 is not likely to entice me. It might entice some others though.

    Xzin,

You talk about not having time to help, and that $50 is too much, but you write a 2 page article explaining it?

Bump, i am still looking for someone to help me setup macros and stuff =)

Like I said, there's alot of info on this site, and alot of people post questions that are answered. I joined a little over 2 weeks ago, but I've read every single post on these forums (granted I skim read stuff that i'm less interested in) and learned alot from them. I'm confident I could set up a 5-10 boxing team on pretty much anything.

Then once you've read articles etc, ask questions you can't find answers to, or that aren't covered to enough of an extent.

Of course if you really don't have time to spend (or waste at work ^^) reading forums and if someone wants that $50 then good for u guys

Yeah, if you have a particular question then post it and I'm sure you'd get an answer (50 dollars or no 50 dollars). Please be more specific than "help setting up macros and stuff".

Checkout the macro sticky at the top of the general section. RTFM!

Now that my setup is live, I would prefer to play. I have put down to "paper" much of my thoughts and distilled much of my boxing knowledge. I don't mind contributing to the community.

What I DO mind is answering questions that have already been answered but people are too lazy to look and spend the time reading what I have already laid out.

Can you blame me? Nobody pays me to do this. I setup the FAQ so people can learn how to do it instead of telling people over and over again.

I did not say $50 was too much. I said it was too little. If you really want customized consulting, talk to me - but I can guarantee you I will ask more than $50 per hour because it is something that I am really not that interested in doing now. I want to enjoy my 10 boxing setup - and will continue to contribute but please stop PMing me with questions that I have already answered is all I am asking.

for many of the first timers, keyclone can be the answer for those looking for a simple, easy to understand setup.

i'm hoping its the quickest path to multi-boxing. just buy your machines, add keyclone to each, connect them together (should add an auto-connect feature) and sign in. just make sure all your keys are the same across all accounts and you have the simplest setup, up and running in no time.

don't get me wrong, later on when you are getting more advanced you'll want to mix up the keys and use round robin and what not. but that's after you've been playing for a bit.

the issue on this thread is about getting started... and how to get there fast.

others here that have tried it should be able to attest to how well its worked them.

Keyclone also works using 5 PCs and 1 account each, or 1 PC running 5 accounts (depending on your hardware capabilities) or any variation on that theme, I'm running 1 copy on my main rig, and 4 on the 2nd rig, 2 copies of KC, but I'm splitting those 4 onto another machine so I'm running 1/2/2 just need the 3rd copy when I have time to play and it's worth getting it

Lawl, this is why I don't bother you guys in game. I think I've said hi to you and Brad in game once, then left you alone. Nothing like a flurry of tells to slow you down.

And everything is on the forums, you just have to do some digging. I know in my situation, I did a LOT of planning. Fitting everything in nice and neat for a pally, priest, warlock and 2 mages takes time. And whenever I get new abilities, it gets even more fun

I'm also a big fan of Keyclone. Best $10 spent, or $20 in my case.
