I am running an i7 3.2 with 6gig on a GTX 260 and can run 3 at a playable rate (~15FPS). 2 plays at 60 FPS. This is with the video options pulled to low

I have yet to get 5 running concurrently

So then the last question here would be what resolution people are getting 5 clients running at? I think my issue may have been the desktop monitor is running 1920x1200 whereas the notebook is running 1500 x 840 and so it may be the difference for the laptop.

    I am running 5 clients on a Core2Quad 9550 OC'd to 3.1 GHz, 8 GB RAM, ATI 4890
All are set to 1920x???? need to check the last portion
I have the main client capped at 25FPS and the slaves are at 10/15 FPS

All are set to Low render mode but the main ( my tank ) has some extra effects enabled.

Only time I have an issue is when all are in Sanctum.
Rifts and everything else are fine.

Also, I have ISB set to run the 1st four clients on thier own CPU and I believe I have the 5th set to run across all 4 cores but i will need to double check this.

I run all 5 clients at 1360/768 due to the fact my middle monitor is a lcd tv and thats the top it can go to with out flickering. Same as above i run all my slaves in low quality rendering and cap their FPS at 10 and my main sits at about 25 to 30 in instances or out 5man killing stuff in rift closing i drop down to 15 or less depending on how may people around which before the patch i was still over 20 in that situation.

I am using the low quality renderer, yes. I run 5 clients at 1920 x 1200. I have an i7 860 which is slightly overclocked and a 5800. I have my foreground set to 30 FPS and my slaves set to 15 FPS. I have everything turned down in game except a couple of things on my main. Even so, I still get slowdowns (maybe down to 10FPS) if I am doing a boss at the end of a major invasion and there are a lot of other people around.

If I want to see RIFT in all its visual glory, I single box.

^ agree.i have a quad q9450 2.66 over clocked to 3.0 and an ati radeon 5700 hd card i which i could over clock it but when i just enable overdrive and do nothing to the settings i get a horrid screen shake on my other 2 monitors.

So I have been keeping an eye on my cpu usage and with 5 clients I seem to get a lot of spikes that are at 100% cpu usage, with an i7 960 cpu clocked at 3.6ghz I would think cpu would not be an issue??

Killing those helped my frame rates.
That's amusing. I'll have to try that tonight as I have _never_ seen that utility do a damn thing when my Rift clients crash.
    Now playing: WoW (Garona)
