    Default trouble 5-boxing Rift

    I am running a i7 dual core 3.5ghertz processor
    6 gigs of ram
    Windows 7
    Nvidia GTX 260 2 gig card x2
Inner Space + ISBoxer for mult-boxing

I had thought my cards were SLI'ed but they were not. So I am thinking that my trouble running 5 accounts on the same system is related to a blockneck caused by the one card.

I plan on buying a second monitor and running 2 accounts on the second card. Currently I can run 2 on one card without issue. 3 is quite playable but a little choppy (15-18 FPS). Running 3 accounts I am at 30% CPU usage and ~3.8 gig memory used.

In the opinion of the board does this system have enough horpsepower to run 4 accounts? (5th will be on a second system)

Please check your core settings in ISBOXER. Click on character set and select your 5 man team.

This will be the biggest issue with rift at the moment.

Put 1 client on cores 1-2, 1 client on cores 2-3 and etc

As far as I can remember there are no dual-core i7's, they're all Quad or Hex cores. This means one of 2 things:

    A. You actually have a dual-core processor meaning you're definitely running out of horsepower trying to run 5 copies.

    or

    B. You actually have a quad core i7 in which then you'll need to follow Oatboat's advice and assign processor affinity if
    you haven't already.

Sorry it is a quad core. I will try the core choices and see how it goes.

So how does 5 copies work if the i7 has 4 real cores and 4 virtual cores? How could you assign 2 per copy?
I have this cpu http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115224 and I too have issues running the 5th client, my system has 12 gig of memory and an ATI 6870 1gig Video card.
My notebook with an nVidia m460 with similar specs is actually running Rift better than my desktop with the Ati card.

Well I tried this and I am still getting sub 20 fps dropping to sub 10 fps in Meridan. My laptop is holding above 15fps and most of the time it sits at 20+ fps.
The weird thing I am seeing in the desktop is that the cpu is spiking a lot more on the desktop than on the notebook.
    Any other suggestions?

Also, try killing the RiftErrorReportingProcess that is spawned for each client.
Killing those helped my frame rates.
    Schadenfreude Rogue ( MM/Ranger ) / Dekoy Rogue ( MM/Ranger ) / Medyc Cleric ( Sentinel/Warden ) / Rhiggs Warrior ( Champion/Warlord ) / Murtaugh Mage ( Chloro )

With 5 clients on a single machine, what are you guys getting fps wise? I really think considering I have an i7 960 3.2ghz, 12 gig of memory and running from an SSD that it should be able to run the 5 clients with reasonable fps.
