Dual boxer moving to 5 - Party composition and leveling strats Qs

I have been dual boxing since 2006. I currently have 4 accounts but never use more than 3 because until now I've been using the dark ages style 'click back and forth between windows' method on one 17' screen.

My new goal is to eventually run heroics. I have, all on seperate accounts, warrior, priest, druid, hunter. My plan is to level 3 mages and use prot warrior tank with priest heals. My warrior and priest are relatively geared and the thought of having to gear up a new tank and healer is not pleasant.

Assuming I keep the warrior and priest, are mages the way to go? I figure that the warrior's weakness is tanking multiple mobs so mages would be the best choice. Agree? I also considered using the druid for heals but I feel priest is the better choice. Both are currently sitting around 1650 heals.

As for leveling, I have decided that instance boosting is the way to go but have not yet determined which 70 to use.

Any suggestions? Input will be greatly appreciated.

I'm doing almost an identical setup Biz. However, I decided to drop the third mage and replace him with a warlock. My theorycraft on this is that I'm willing to give up the third sheep for the good stuff a lock can give me: banish, soulstone, etc.

My crew is still pretty far from heroics, but so far it's a very promising team.

I'm running Pally, 3xMages, and a Priest.

AOE is awesome! Could never do it right without the pally though. Wanted a warrior, but was too micro-managy.

I thought about subbing in a Warlock for one of the Mages, but the AOE is just SO nice for leveling. Kill quests are just absurdly easy.

Although, looking at the Warlock spells, it seems like a Warlock would make boss fights a LOT easier, while adding a lot of utility... Hmm...

Exactly....I decided to go with the warlock thinking about boss fights more so than the grind to 70.

Warlocks rock because they can dot up adds while the first set of dots is ticking on the main target. With seed of corruption and rain of fire they can ae with the mages also if you want them to. Add in the utility of a voidwalker to offtank, a succubus to mez, an imp for extra dps and health etc etc.

The big problem with adding a lock is the issue of dealing with a whole different set of spells.

Most of the more useful lock spells are insta cast, so they should synergize well with other classes. Also you could just use keybindings for the lock instead of using the casting bar.

Yes, it adds more complexity, but I've found it manageable and I think it's going to be worth it when I hit the heroic bosses. In my case, my protection warrior is obviously the driver and as a warrior I do have to micromanage him a lot. The priest and 2 mages are pretty simple to manage since the spells they actually use during a fight are pretty limited. The lock is more diverse but he's still manageable. Naturally, I use keyclone. I have a group of keys assigned to the priest, another group to the mages, and another to the lock.
