    who going 1h??

    WOW

    Gladiator Weapons

    * Season 10 Conquest Point weapons will only be purchasable once a required minimum sum of Conquest Points has been reached during the current season. For example, Ruthless Gladiator's Pike costs 3400 Conquest Points to purchase. However, players must first earn a total of 11650 Conquest Points during Season 10 before they are able to purchase it.

    * Season 9 Honor Point weapons will only be purchasable once a required minimum sum of Honor Points has been reached during the current season. For example, Vicious Gladiator's Pike costs 3400 Honor Points to purchase. However, players must first earn a total of 18500 Honor Points during Season 10 before they are able to purchase it.

    * Once the minimum sum of points required to purchase weapons is reached, all available weapons can be purchased for their listed costs. The point requirement is not reset once a purchase is made.

    * Weapon tooltips from the vendor will let players know how many more Conquest or Honor Points must be earned in the current season before the item can be purchased.

Just to be clear, does this mean we'll be able to purchase "old" conquest point weapons with honor after 4.2, as long as we earn 18500 total honor after the 4.2 patch? i.e. I DON'T need to do Arena or Rated BGs to purchase them?
    If so, huzzah!

Exactly. The client can handle up to 3GB of RAM (if I understand correctly), so I'm not expecting this to change anything for us boxers.
I expect you'd have to be running at 2560x1600 with everything on Ultra high graphics and an assload of addons to get close to 3GB on the client.

Default PTR 4.2 Keep all topics here please

According to the latest changes in the interface files of the Patch 4.2 PTR client, it seems that Blizzard is finally getting ready to release a 64-bit version of the WoW client.

    GlueStrings.lua if ( IsWindowsClient() ) then if ( Is64BitClient() ) then dllURL = SCANDLL_URL_WIN64_SCAN_DLL; else dllURL = SCANDLL_URL_WIN32_SCAN_DLL; end end AccountLogin.lua SCANDLL_URL_WIN32_SCAN_DLL = "http://us.scan.worldofwarcraft.com/update/Scan.dll"; SCANDLL_URL_WIN64_SCAN_DLL = "http://us.scan.worldofwarcraft.com/update/Scan-64.dll";
Well, this change means two things:

    • People with 64-bit Operating Systems (= anyone with more than 3gb of Memory, most likely) will see a slight increase in performance.
    • People who regularly experiences crashes when World of Warcraft uses too much memory will finally be able to play WoW without crashing every x hours/minutes. (People playing in super high resolution, or with a boatload of addons)

Of course nothing is official yet, but there's a glimmer of hope for the increasing number of people with 64-bit systems. However, I'd like to point out that we're only seeing a couple of strings in .lua files and not real changes so I wouldn't expect it for Patch 4.2.

    Valor Points
    • The maximum number of Valor Points which can be earned in a week from any and all applicable dungeons and raids is now 980, down from 1250.
    • The maximum number of Valor Points awarded for completing Rise of the Zandalari dungeons remains at 980.
    • The maximum number of Valor Points awarded for completing Heroic dungeons remains at 490.
    • The number of Valor Points awarded for killing a boss in the Firelands is 70 in 10-player mode, and 90 in 25-player mode.
    • The number of Valor Points awarded for killing Occu'thar in Baradin Hold is 35 in 10-player mode, and 45 in 25-player mode.
    • The number of Valor Points awarded for killing a boss on Heroic difficulty in The Bastion of Twilight, Blackwing Descent, and Throne of the Four winds is 35 in 10-player mode, and 45 in 25-player mode.

What a complete joke ... running troll dungeons gives you more VP as clearing Firelands in 25m mode ..., not to mention that you can't even cap out with raiding.

Death knights, paladins, and warriors no longer receive any bonus to their chance to dodge from Agility. Their base chance to dodge is now a fixed 5%.
I always knew Blizz hated dodge since Wrath. In BC i gear and gem all my tanks with Agility. Even when i did get hit, I though 'hmm, meh, that's it? LoLz' . I dont think I have read Blizz using the word 'customization' anymore. Cause everything must be balance to a tee and talents must be predictable.
