Ah ;p 10 out of 25, though raiders, not too shabby ;p I think I lucked out, being on Mag...most of the alliance got run over by Zin and probably run into the zerg occasionally so they're fairly informed, I run all 3 through town all the time and even put on dance parties before I log off most nights, get the word out and show I'm not a bot ;p

I know that my gear is pretty crappy, heck I have 5xcenarion mounts and a green boe dagger. The fact is its much easier to make gold than gear up 5 people, especially if they are the same class. So I'm sure people think I'm a farmer when in fact I'm probably just resting from running an instance the 20th time for my final drop

You make me so very, very sad. Those damn things are 1700g AFTER the 5k Epic Flight training AND after getting Exalted...wtf you people are thinking wasting gold on that thing is beyond me lol

heh thankfully my flight form is free at 68, problem is my main has epic flight form and I can't shift into the basic one anymore because of that; gonna have to grab a normal gryphon to fly with them till I can scrounge up the 10k gold to get them into epic lol; but DAMN is it worth the trouble, if you ever get an epic flier you'll wonder how you ever stood the plain one :p

What else are you supposed to do with your gold? 5x dailies is good for 600g/day not even counting drops (which can easily be another 100g.) If you've gotten the 5x flying mounts, the extra 1.7k for the CE mount is pocket change from doing netherwing rep .

Well I'm too lazy to do dailies, ahem, daily. And I was a raider too, so that ate a solid 30-60g in flasks per-night alone, plus reagent restocks + restocking 20+ mana pots at 10-15g/stack, sometimes health pots and Major Dreamless SLeep Pots(Perfect for a boomkin in raids, not so much for anyone else besides hunters), then there was re-enchanting any gear upgrades...yeah my gold never stayed above 200-300g at best lol

Still though, SEVENTEEN HUNDRED GOLD for a mount the alliance ride all the time for free, and an UGLY one at that :p You have the dragon, the rays, the eng mount and normal ones with armor available, why would you want an ugly green chicken that costs almost half as much as the training did vs ones that cost 17times less and look better? lol; the gold could go to crafting gear too, Spellstrike gear, the bop pieces, etc

I don't think I've hopped on a hippogryph flight path since BC came out, and it's like a status symbol. I bought the mount on my main, and was tempted to buy one for my druid but I like the epic flight form better. Everyone seems to have a netherdrake or skyguard ray, but I see very very few other people with the hippogryph. Both my 70's already have every BoE epic they can use, even the vortex belts, and I've got ~4k left for epic gems and whatnot.

If you're too lazy to make gold, don't criticize people who aren't lazy and have cash to burn . Some end-game guilds have hundreds of thousands of gold banked with nothing to spend it on.

Should share the wealth then ;D as for a status symbol...not on Mag, tons of people have it, I saw 3 in shatt by aldor bank recently alone lol, there's a few bears and phoenix mounts too, I just personally don't understand spending so much on pure looks that noone but you and noobs give two shits about ;p

And don't forget that Blizzard is planning on doubling the dailies so now it'll be closer to 288g each toon :thumbsup: . A 5-boxer will get around 1440g a day!
