PVP Server Kill or Be Killed?

Where can we get this Vanoskos mod? It isn't on curse.

I have been drawing up an Excel spreadsheet of everyone who has ganked me so far and an in game mod like that sounds awesome.

It seems that on EU Al'Akir there are always Undead Rogues at Lakeshire & Darkshire flight points ganking all the lowbies that fly in - my list grows every day.

The only person I havent added was an Undead rogue who got me twice in Stormwind at about 3am - credit to the guy for getting into the city to pick off lowbies when there are 70s everywhere so he escaped my future wrath.

I think I will start with a 'live and let live' attitude vs single players when i do start seeing horde of my own level, groups will be red=dead, and anyone who does the /spit emote after ganking me will go not only on the KOS list , but also on the corpse camping list.

I am composing a "ganked me while leveling" list, and this made me laugh.

I highly recommend VanasKOS, btw. If your guildies use VanasKOS, you'll get an alert with coordinates if THEY see someone on your KOS list.

Well the trick here is to put VanasKOS on all your /follow'ing chars, so that if they spy someone in the air that you haven't seen yet, you'll get a nice flashy warning on your main's screen to duck and cover. That is, until you turn 70 and then you hunt them down with the fury of the angry camped-while-leveling level70 multiboxer.

Im in a guild that really tries to start some world pvp on our server. We try so hard that when we invite low levels to the guild or mostly those who just start in hellfire peninsula, they usually comment that since they joined the chances a horde will attack them first has increased by 90% or so... My motto is: If its red, its dead! And the only time i dont follow this is if the horde are superior in numbers, or if its a) a warlock or b) a hunter with equal or superior gear. Another exception is if they are doing a hard/irritating quest, like escorting the skettis guy, wait time for him is forever.. BUT if i was attacked while escorting i usually stay in the area and kill everyone i see doing the quest =)

It depends on my mood. When I'm questing or on a mission to do something specific, I'll leave people alone unless they bother me or someone in my faction first(Unless it's someone in my faction I hate, like Goosexi, who I lol'd at while he got ganked by a druid near Ogrila)

There's times I'll be a merciless motherfucker though; when I was lvling my NE Rogue on Gul'Dan, I tried to lvl in felwood...couldn't go 2 steps without a new ganker showing up to rape me silly(this was pre-bc); I couldn't get shit done. I eventually got so fed up with it I left, went to STV, and ganked the ever-loving shit out of every horde I could find, in the troll ruins, at nesingwary, at the bloodsails, everywhere, I even went into fucking Grom'Gol and DESTROYED them, vanishing from the guards after(I was subtlety/daggers with a +5 Shanker MH at the time so I could 2shot lv60 clothies with a crit ambush/backstab), and even ganked a few on the zeppelin after it pulled away, hopping down to continue my rampage.

I also had a bad experience awhile back on my Druid post-BC, I forget WHY exactly but I was 70 already and geared a bit, something pvp-related pissed me off hardcore, and I spent the rest of the fucking day ganking every horde I could find, in and out of town mercilessly in Hellfire peninsula; 70s showed up to help if I waited too long in one spot and I destroyed them too. I was pissed and my Crit was cooperating with me, 5k starfires for all! Fuck you 60 rogue! Fuck you 55 warlock, go back to Azeroth! Fuck off lv70 hunter, your fucking pet can't get me up here, eat moonfire assmunch! ;P

But yeah that's my only 2 "major" "returned favors". Rest of the time I won't go specifically looking for pvp unless I'm making a video(Like when I ganked half the Orgrimmar AH pre-bc with my rogue at 60 lol) or it's a KoS guild(Like Superiority Complex for ruining our Kazzak attempt awhile back; I did the same to them by Cycloning their MT when they tried him a few days later ;) Much fun ensued as he oneshotted non-tanks >D and I cyclone any horde kazzak MT I catch since then, if I can't down him noone can!)

Bottom line: Don't fuck with me or my allies and I won't fuck you raw ;p

As I said before, I am the defensive kind. My group is halfway through 69 and I only really got camped once and not for long. I got killed twice by a roaming 70 priest in STV when my group was in their thirties and ganked a few times at Nessings but this is also where I killed my first skull. I also got ganked occasionally by a passing 70 power leveling in the same instances I was running.

The only time I got camped was in Nagrand. A 70 hunter with some arena gear and a 68 or so shaman attacked me, I was 67 or 68 I think. I ignored the shaman, and just closed on the hunter. The hunter just stood there shooting at my pally (lawl). Killed the hunter and then killed the shaman. The hunter came back on the flying mount and hid on a tree somewhere and shadowmelded. Insta-gibbed one of my clothies from max range and was restealthed before I realized and could get in range to retaliate. Rinse and repeat for all my other clothies. I think I tried to make a run for it or get out of range and this is where the hunter just picked me off from range. I felt pretty useless.

So...I ran halfway across Nagrand to rez and then got jumped by the hunter again. At this point I logged my rogue on with pretty decent honor gear and S2 weapons and went looking for the hunter. Halaa raid started and I caught up with the hunter there. Got a few retribution kills in and 150 Halaa tokens later the Alliance dogs were driven from Halaa.

Funnily enough, the ganking happened at Nessings in Nagrand, let that be a lesson to y'all.

Sorry bout the semi-thread resurrection but I just though up a question I found interesting. Do you ever gank people because of the guild they're in. Guilds like <If its red its dead> <I'm sorry were you questing> etc?

There's a guild on mag named <I'm sorry were you questing?>...I half-wished right then I could gank them then and there, but they were same faction =x

I don't typically gank based on guildname being pvp-oriented...but I DO gank guilds if enough of their members piss me off or do something cheap/low, which is why I ganked a Shaman from <Run Out> this morning for his guildies having bothered me over the past couple weeks, and his hunter buddy looked over my 3 alts, got on his flying mount and ran the fuck away cuz i basically 2shotted the shaman mid-heal lol
