    Default Question on resolution w/maximizer

    Howdy,

It seems that Keyclone sets my client resolution to 800x600 (even on my main 1920x1200 display) - is there any way to disable this functionality?

what is the size of the maximizer region you are defining?

I have a 1920x1200 region (main screen) and 4x960x600 regions on a 2nd display. The resolution gets set to 800x600 in config.wtf file. What I would prefer is that all regions keep their resolution at 1920x1200 as it makes switching regions go much, much faster (and doesn't dork up my main frame when I switch - the text gets really ugly).

It appears all that I really need is an option added to keyclone that makes it _not_ modify the resolution entry in config.wtf. I've manually gotten around this by locking down the file at the OS level and setting all clients @ 1920x1200 (but I have to put in my login name per client). Switching secondary regions with the primary region now happen instantly because the client doesn't have to mess with trying to resize it to my primary screen resolution.

the config.wtf file gets modified before launching each command. the gxResolution gets set then...
and is only read once by each wow, upon start up.
the value is that of the region specified.

to prove it, exit all your wows, then edit the config.wtf file... modify the gxResolution to 400x300.
then run a command which uses one of your regions.
after the command runs, and it placed properly, open the config.wtf file and check the gxResolution field.
it should be equal to the dimensions you specified in the region

it may switch as you request, but it also is using more cpu along the way as it is rendering for a larger area.

and if you are locking the file... then keyclone isn't changing anything.

The CPU utilization is a non-issue for me. I guess I'll just stick with typing in the account on a per-client basis as everything else is perfect now.

    Thanks again.
