Default Your most fun to play 5 box grp?

    All,

I have been 5 boxing for about 8 month now. teams 1 shadow priest and 4 Locks (PVP) : 3 mages , Pal, Holy piest (PVE.

I have always liked my hunters so I started 4 more hunters to play around with. Now the new 4 are only level 13 now, but boy are they fun to play. They are more fun than my other two teams.

Now I must admit that I know the hunter best lvled 2 hunters to PVP rank 14 ( You have to like them to do that twice).

I also started 5 druids good but not has fun as hunters.

Will try the OPed 5 shammys next.

anyways just my cents 4 hunters are great, 5 will be really fun in bgs and maybe even arena

What 5 man (err female) teams do you like playing the best?

The most fun I've had was playing 4x mages & a priest. Stuff just disapears, no tank needed until outlands.
4x pom pyro is just evil. Instant Arcane explosion, & blastwave are quite fun as well.

Once they hit 70, they didn't quite scale out the way I thought they would.

Playing shammies now. Much less fun to level & the "OMGWTFBBQ" isnt quite as tasty as it was on the mages, but I hear that changes
as you hit 70 & get geared , which was the opposite of what happened with me & the mages.

Overall I think it boils down to what you like to play, & I like to play mages.
1Priest, 4Mages Qyx, Kwix, Aquix, Cquix, Quixar // 5 Shammies, Quixs, Quixas, Quixbs, Quixcs, Quixds // Quix Inc (Gurubashi PVP)

I've come form the other side - 4 locks and a priest. Locks kinda lack the OMGWTFBBQ that mages do - I mean sure, you can spam shadowbolts but it just doesn't feel the same - mages defintely have the "PEW PEW" factor with their spells.

Shamans seem to be the middle road - they have one PEW PEW spell - chain lightning, and it rocks! Especially when lightning overload procs on multiple toons, it's like "break out the jam cuz this guy is toast". Earth Shock has a PEW PEW sound but lacks the visual oomph to go with it. Lightning bolt seems kind of lame - in fact it lighting ball would be a better description for the spell.

That being said, I'm definitely loving playing the shams and they seem to scale a bit better than the locks as well.

    Cheers,

    My favourites...

    Instance grinding: 1 x Protadin, 2 x Mage, 1 x Hunter, 1 x Priest. I often swap the hunter for a lock.

That team is a complete nightmare in PvP though, where the pally (who is my "main") basically just stands there and does nothing useful at all.

    BG PvP: 3 x mages, 1 x Warlock, 1 x Priest. BOOM!

I don't do arenas, and I live mostly on a concensual-only PvP server, so those are my two main activities

Of my newer teams, I'm REALLY enjoying the 3xBoomkin, 2xShammy setup with my wife, and almost - almost - wish we'd rolled them on a PvP server because it's the most well-rounded and capable group I can imagine. I miss crowd control at times, but with everybody basically able to take a beating, do ranged DPS AND heal, that's not a big deal.

    Haha

my dream BG-pvp spec would be
    1 Resto Druid
    4 Nelf Hunters

    1) Shadowmeld at the flag - if some poor soul comes, start off with a cyclone
    2) wait 3 seconds
3a) queue aimed shot + starfire
    3b) followed by a arcane + multishot
    4) ??
    5) Profit

Of course you can use a feral druid for 5% more crit (LOTP) or Boomkin for better burst, but I was just thinking Resto druid as the main and for increased survivability.

In huge battles :P - mulishot/arcane shot spam with NElf Entangling rooting / Cycloning (to queue the next aimed shot combo) and healing
Not sure how itll work in pve though

For PVE was thinking more of Paladin / Mage / Mage / Shadowpriest / Shaman (Resto). No more mana issues, tremor/fear ward, strong buffs all round, high end dps/cc. Ah well all a dream
