It's the little things

On my very first character, a night elf hunter, I fondly remember getting to a place in Ashenvale called Night Run. There's a bunch of Satyrs in this area and for some reason I spent a lot of time just going around in circles killing them all. Over and over and over and over.

There are several chests that spawn in this area and the very first one I opened I got a blue item. Woot! I didn't even know what a blue item was. I barely knew what a green item was. LOL.

Later on I got two Gold Bars. I was a complete noob and was convinced I just hit the motherlode!! I only had 3 or 4 gold COINS in my pocket, I couldn't imagine what 2 gold BARS would be worth. I was going to be RICH!!! Boy was I disappointed when I got to a vendor.

Anyway, to this day anytime I'm bringing a character near to the Night Run for the first time, I make a trip through it for nostalgia sake.

LOL... I went through the same thing when visiting long forgotten places in the old world. My first ever instance was with my 2 friends in RFC. Going back there with my team brought back a lot of fond memories... :thumbup:
