    Default Keyclone Issues

Hey guys :> Ok, I have keyclone working, followed FAQ: step-by-step basic keyclone setup to get it up and running so those are the macros I am currently using. My problem is.. I will hit "6" on my main character, the alt char will follow, but as soon as I turn a little on my main and start running in that direction the alt will come off follow and begin just folloing my key strokes, eg. running backwards and forwards when I press S, W but facing the wrong way, hence running in the wrong direction. Anything I ca do to fix this issue? Thanks heaps for any suggestions!

Hi matt and welcome to the forums!

your wows are going to use normal /follow rules. by that i mean, if they try to turn or cast certain spells or go melee while following, they will break follow. what many people do it put their movement keys (WASD... also add shift+WASD and ctrl+WASD to be safe) on the do-not-pass (dnp) list. this will allow you to have them on follow and they won't break if you turn. i also put NUMLOCK on the dnp list, which i use for cruise control.

personally, i keep the arrow movement keys so i can do some moves while in combat.. rotate and strafe are common... but only in short distances and you have to be very careful of their facing.

Thanks heaps mate. Got it sorted. One question though.. Should I have to wait a second or so for my clone to catch up before being able to cast when I stop? Otherwise when I cast he is stil catching up and won't cast because he is still running.

This is perfectly normal. The follow logic the game uses keeps the other toon moving a second or two after the first one stops. After 10-15 levels you will become so natural at timing it you won't believe it. (The other option is to spam the crap out of your cast macro, this ends up with staggered spells as the main starts casting and a second later the alt does...)
