    Default Class Combi (moved from the MMORPG Gen Discussion)

    Decided I posted in the wrong forum originally. So here it comes (edited it a little)

    (Does anyone know how to delete a thread in the MMORPG general discussion)
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Hi everyone!
    I must say I got very intrigued when the first videos of multiboxing came about and now I decided to try it for my own. Thinking of 70% PVE and 30% PVP with abit of world gankage.
    At the moment I'm still getting the hardware, so while waiting I wanted to try and decide which classes to pick. I read through all the pages in this forums regarding PVE selections and must admit every single choice looks absolutely enticing!
    Here's my catch:
    I have 5 level 70s atm, levelled individually, of which I intend to split them into 5 different accounts.
    Warrior / Shaman / Warlock / Druid / Mage
    What should I pick to box for my 'new' 5 toons, and more importantly, which toon should I put in which account?
    I'm was thinking of a Paladin / Shaman X4 combo, (putting the Paladin tank with my original shaman), so I can 5Xshaman the BGs
    However, I started thinking ahead and wondering if I should try to make as diverse a class group as possible to augment/mix-and-match my original 5 so as to rotate and do almost any instance.
    For example...
    Paladin / Mage / Mage / Priest / Priest
    This enables me to have a holypriest to sub the resto druid, or shadowpriest to fit in, or double mage (or triple mage!) to make CC / AOE even more reliable. Warrior tank when I need vs Paladin tank. More priests for more shackles if I need. I could pick triple mage to BG with one day and swap to Shaman / Druid / Priest the next. The possibilities are endless!
    This is no longer a question of 'what 5 classes make the best PVE combo' and becomes, which way can i diversify and which char should I level on which account to be able to mix and match most efficiently.
    I was actually considering a Paladin / Priest / Shaman / Shaman / Priest combo so I can have 3 shamans for the pew pew with my Pala tanking. (slight variation of the Paladin and 4 shammies) versus Paladin / priest / priest / priest /priest shadowspec early and convert to mass disc-nuker for heroics.
    What do you guys think ?
    I can respec the original 5 to any spec
    I read that holy priests are the best healer spec for pve - can druids fare the same?
    How is it non-healing 5-boxers can clear heroics :P (seen the videos - impressive!) If I want to heroics what would be sweet
    Take your time I won't start until I finally decide. This will probably be a long thread of debate
    Thanks!
    Here is a tip, open your other 4 accounts, decide the classes you want to support your main account. If your going to do 4 Shams, keep Pally/Mage on 'main' account and even Warrior. Use a combination of those three to power level your other 4 characters extremely fast.
    thanks for quick reply!
    atm I'm still undecided, am still thinking of splitting up the original into 5 because the combi is actually quite good in pve :P
    although boosting does sound nice
    Although :S
    Druid/Mage are on 1 account.
    Warrior/Lock/Shaman are on another
    hehe.
    On thinking about it more
    Perhaps I should have a Paladin / Priest at least in the second group so I don't miss out on all their goodies
    Well that leaves 3 classes left to think about.
    What advantages do hunters have over mage/locks in nuking? Should I pick one up ?
