Default Question, will this work? (boost)

So I have started 5boxing, all new characters. 1pala and 4druids. I don't want to whine or anything, but it's going pretty slowly. I'm lvl23 in 1day /played time.

But the question is. I have a 70 warlock already, can I replace the paladin for the warlock, and boost the 4 druids with the warlock.
    Will it be effective?
Will it go faster then just lvling 5 samelvl chars?

    Tips and ideas?

You can boost to about 50 as a Warlock pretty efficiently. I think it took me 2 days and a few hours to hit 50... I used my Warrior to boost to get from 45 to 60 though: It's much faster since mobs start to hit pretty hard.

WC to 15, RFK to 20, Cath to 35, ZF to 45, and then I did LBRS. You can keep doing ZF 'till 50 and it's decent. This was all with my Warlock.

Yes, it's faster in the sense that it'll be more efficient than doing it by hand BUT then you won't have a pally along with them :/

You know I just did this with my 70 hunter and 4 lowbie shaman. Works great for the 4. Yes it is effective. Yes it will most likely go faster and definitely more predictable and brainless than leveling 5 characters through questing (in most scenarios.) but here's the issue you'll run into:

You will loathe coming back to your pally.

You will think "why should i bother with my pally, when I still need to gear up my other guys?" If you really bite the bullet and come back to him, you'll hate life slowly leveling on quests, and you'll have this thought in the back of your mind, "If i'm going to relevel starting at 23 again, why not just level up 4 more characters to go along with this guy? it's just about as easy" so then you'll be back to square 1.

So effectively you can say goodbye to the idea of having a pally for a long time if you choose to do this. That might be worth it to you though, to get your 70 druids faster. If you want a 4 druid + pally team, don't bother doing it. If you want a 4 druid + lock team, go for it.

    hope this helps

Is there a recommended guide on what instances on what lvls? Or should I just go the instance where my lowbies can get in?

The more time you spend with the entire group the better your synchronization will be when you get to 70. I'd level em all as a group, it'll be more challenging, you'll learn more and it will be alot more rewarding.

Wow, it's very hard to boost with wlock it seems. I tryed SM cath, and my lowbies aggro hard, so i have to leave them behind a bit, then pick them up again. And the mobs kick my SoC

Anyone boosted with wlock and got tips?

    If you're boosting:
    10-20 Deadmines
    20-40 SM
    40-50 ZF
    50-55 BRD
    55-70 Outlands instances.

    EZ Mode

Ok Sl/Sl is good for boosts Because get void out and you potentially have 30% more health, then you pull al the mobs your self and let void on passive run about and keep rebuffing on everymob siphon life, when you get low mana life tap and up to ZF you will have no trouble whatso ever, because they hit you didg they miss for less than just one of your Sl/Sl heals

Affliction is also pretty ez, i am Affli now on my main for pve but a hint of pvp :P
make sure you have a full bag of SS send void in to hold aggro pretty ez, then seed all around the void and the one the void is attacking after 4 others, then nuke that one, it sould cause a chain, and inturn kill everything ez.

Only instance you will have trouble with, using the Sl/Sl method is SFK, its an easy wipe at 70 there if your not careful, take it easy if your affli but its not as hard, also remember to heal your pet cos its dead easy for him to tank, plus if you aggro and start shitting yourself soulshatter.

    My Spec is 45/5/11

Lol at the spellstone equipped w00t w00t

BTW!!!!! Make sure you bubble if your voids about to get nuked!!!!!

My Warlock has 1200 shadow damage and about 10khp when he's specced SL/SL. In Cath, all you have to do is SL/CoA every mob. You'll never drop below 80% health.

You need to set up a few macros, basically. One button will stop your toons--They don't have to stay autofollow on you, they just need to stay in xp range. I stop at the end of the first tunnel in SM until the lower area is clear, then leave them on top of the right-hand stairs to the upper area while I clear that, then leave them just outside the door while I clear inside. I could get it down to 8 minute 30 second runs if everything went perfectly.

As far as which instances... As I said, I did WC from 10 to 15, RFK to 20, then Cath to 35, then ZF to 45. ZF is the same thing as Cath in that you only have to double dot if you have 1100+ spell damage. Just put two lines in your DoT macro: A line to autoattack the healing totems. As long as your pet kills them then two dots kills all the non-boss mobs in ZF.

I tried to do LBRS with my Warlock and it was ugly. The mobs just do too much damage at that point. With my Warrior I was getting about a level an hour all the way to 55. Zone in, jump down to the right and clear the Orcs, then come up through the trolls and out to the zone. Skip the bosses if you're there for xp--The loot just plain isn't worth it. To be honest, I didn't loot most of the time. Any mob that stays around after everything else has decayed has a blue or a purple on it.

Also, as an aside... Boosting with my 'lock I used my Succubus and had kind of an off-kilter SL/SL spec. You want to be doing as much damage as possible because SL is going to completely heal you all the way through ZF. After ZF... Not so much.

Another also: You can boost one toon faster than you can boost 4. You want 2 other people plus you and your plevelee in the group for max xp bonus... And make them the lowest level possible for the instance. You've got a Warlock, just do random tells until you find people and summon'em
