The eBook pays me around $1.95 per download. If I have done my math correctly, it is about $1.25 I will make on the paper back as well even though it has a $14.15 price point. It costs $5.10 to print a 310 page book. Then I have to give them a 55% discount off of the cover price to amazon and barnes and noble. I am fairly new at it so I could be way off seeing how its all print on demand and not mass market runs.

My only financial goal for the paper back is to sell enough to cover the extra costs involved by offering it. $30 for a proof. $75 for the setup, and another $60 for the catalog. $165 may not sound like much but I would have to sell 132 of them just to cover setup costs from the printer.

If I sell the book myself out of my truck at a book signing or fare, I make everything minus print costs and shipping.
