    Default 4.1 instant rez macro

Hi guys 4.1 changes the Death Knight raise ally to a battle rez on a 10 minute cool down.

I play 3 DKS with mogs psuedo priority set up. I was wondering if there is a macro i can place on one of my spammable dps keys that will have my characters check to see if any of the others are dead and if one is cast Battle Rez without losing the target i am attacking.

The idea being i'm in a BG wailing on some dude, one of my guys dies and just by spamming my usual DPS button one of the other DKS will rez him pretty quickly.

IIn BGs they will not always be in the same group so doing a party check type macro won't be that useful i don't think. Any ideas appreciated.

If you can put the individual names of characters in the macro then ideally i could set it up with each DK targeting the other Dks in different orders. That way when its spammed they will all be moving through the possible list at different ends and covering possible dead people for rezzes faster.

The software will have absolutely no idea on whether someone is alive or dead, the best you'll get is to have it send the key combination regardless.

That leaves a macro in the game.

If your composition is three DK's, without a healer...
You might go something like this:
    A >> B
    B >> C
    C >> A

If your composition includes a Healer and three DK's...
That's a bit harder to accomplish.
I would probably go with the above anyway, but include the option to rez the healer with a modifier.
Either that, or have each of the DK's prioritize the healer ahead of another DK.

Not sure if these would work, but something similar to this:
    -- DKA... /cast [target=Healer,dead] [target=DKB,dead] Raise Ally
    -- DKB... /cast [target=Healer,dead] [target=DKC,dead] Raise Ally
    -- DKC... /cast [target=Healer,dead] [target=DKA,dead] Raise Ally

The macro and software have no clue whether you have 60 Runic Power or not.
Or if the toon is in range or not.

I would put each macro on a keybind.
Probably the same as Blood Strike used to be on.
Since that is spammed already, and we won't need Blood Strike any longer.

In Arena/Rated BG's, the ability cannot fire off as it follow the Druid rules for B.Rez.
But in world PvP or normal Battlegrounds, a nice mindless bonus.

Yes this is exactly what i had in mind thank you very much for the macro. I plan to put exactly where blood strike now resides as you say. Should be good for a simple mindless rez when enough runic power is up. can't wait to test this with the new howling blast death rune spam.

i tried this macro and it did not work - as in the macro was broken. I deleted the 'dead' part and it works fine.

so it reads /cast [target=DKB] Raise Ally instead

I suppose a Raise Dead type spell is going to fail, when targeting a living character.

I know you can go [nodead] in a macro; I use that in focus healing macros.
Guess the reverse [dead] is not a valid argument.

    All good, if it works.
