    Question Account under attack? >_<

Recently I've been receiving E-mails from blizzard (I think) will post the contents below:

I've recieved 1-2 per day for over a week now, usually between 1AM - 6AM GMT.
I log into my Battle.net account online (NOT using the link in the mail) And everything looks fine, all details seem the same,
Log into all my accounts In-Game and all toons, gold etc are there no problems, no new toons (Maybe for gold spamming etc).
Have E-mailed Blizzard but no response as yet so thought i'd post here and see if any of you have had or get stuff like this often?
Or have any idea why i would be constantly getting sent these mails, are they authentic? have the hackers managed to learn real english now? hmmm
Any help would be greatly appreciated
    /Cheers!

What are you using for email?-you should be able to check the headers to see who it really comes from. The Account Management link looks fishy to me. Edit:PS-you should be using an authenticator to help protect your account(s)!

Almost 2 years ago I had my accounts 'hacked'. I've since then changed my battlenet email and got an authenticator and haven't had any troubles. Although my old blizz email address receives those emails at about a half dozen week and there is no account tied to that address. I can't stress enough the need for an authenticator, I use the free app you can get for the iPhone, works fine. And you probably should change your email address on your battlenet account, try to do on a pc that you normally don't use in case you've already attracked the wrong attention.

Dude... there is a spam link right in your e-mail that I removed. People need to stop linking spam e-mails with working links.

i normally ignore all of these emails.

for a start, if blizzard were to send you an email they would start the message with your account details, not some random hello message.

also you are on the EU servers, so why would they get you to call the US number for support?

    just bin them

thats the joys of using the same email account when siging up for stuff.. (there's big money in selling on email addresses)

hey, i even get emails telling me my Rift account has been compromised... Quite impressive seeming as i dont even play the game, and have never even thought about signing up an account

    I don't even open them.

The email I get this spam on, is my normal email address.
Not the email that my accounts are registered to.
Those were made specifically for B.Net and aside from logging into the game have never been used for any other purpose.
It is possible they have spam there too, but I've never checked them since making them...

Anyway, spam to my email doesn't need to be opened.
Blizzard was never given my email address for the accounts receiving similar messages to this one.

There are nifty services you can get for like $15/year where you can basically run your own domain and set up individual email accounts for every business/game/site/etc. you visit. Name it something non-obvious and on the odd chance you ever do get spam (usually when a business sells your info) you can just delete the mail alias and the spam goes to the great bit-bucket in the sky.

I wish Blizzard would make it required that you had to learn how to read headers before you could use your account. I wish Blizzard would make it required that you type in 15 times that you are willing to get hacked if you choose to not attach an authenticator on multiple WOW accounts. You could still not use one, but you would have no excuses if you did get hacked.

Whenever i use my email address on a website, i always use it in this format: website@mydomain.com
And since half a year i get these blizzard-emails which are send to curse-gaming.com@mydomain.com and curse.com@mydomain.com
So that makes it pretty clear who sold it's customer database... (or had it's database stolen)

This also makes it very simple for me to see if it's a genuine blizzard email or not.
