im at level 62 currently, 64 rogues, priests, druids were tearing me up. most defense i had againts them was thunderstorm to get distance. then my lightning spells. should i just go enhancement?

rogues can 1-shot nearly every class in the non-85 bg's. There is nothing you can do, except a thunderstorm on round robin, glyphed stoneclaw totem & elemental mastery, and use them as defensive cooldowns

priests their shields at low levels can be insanely strong to break, so they get time enough to dot all of your toons

there is not a great deal you can do against this i'm afraid

Against priests I'd use the glyphed stoneclaw shield, and grounding totems. And make a purge button for all shamans, and purge their shields and buffs away. When it comes to rogues and ferals I'd use thunderstorm on round robin with 1 shaman specced into 100 % chance to root the opponent with earthbind totem, so when you press thunderstorm you also put down a earthbind totem. Get pvp trinket, and use that to get out of their opening stuns. Then thunderstorm and earthbind em, you could use frost shock aswell after that to buy some time to heal up your team.

i have 3 80 shamans and and a 3 frost DK team i have at lvl 77 now. I started my multiboxing in WOTLK with the shamans all elemental. I too experienced the problems you are having with melees when they get amongst your chars, particularly rogues.

Fast forward to cataclysm and i returned to wow and multiboxing and tried a melee set for the first time using the pseudo priority set up from Mogz DK video. I can tell you it's amazing and melee's are way easier to play. I respecced my shamans to enhancement and in many ways they are better than the DKs in BGs.

enhancement with wolves up every two minutes is incredibly fun. But most of all what i find with the melee teams is that you just do not have to worry about not facing the right way for spells or line of sight for spells and even when feared IWT will make your toons all run back to the target without having to worry about collecting them. If a rogue is stun locking on of your chars in the middle of the other ones IWT just makes your other melees turn and tear his face off before he can kill one of your chars.

And if he dies you jsut rez him, heal then are on your way to kill again without having the pesky run to the gy to pick up your resurrected character.

I'd never go all caster again after experience the ease of play i get with a melee team. But as others have said at that level your really sitting stationary duck for melee players to own.

Purge is not going to protect you from a shadowpriest killing you. BUt obviously as an offensive dispel it's great with 5 shamans able to purge at once. Else good luck purging the buff you want to dispel.

For battlegrounds, anything that doesn't instantly blow your team up...
Should not be a whole lot of an issue.

Four on, one or six opponents...
You'll consistently blow one target up fast, and with target switching or focusing a healer, anyone goes down.
Others have said Elemental is not as strong this expansion as previously.
Still you have a lot of burst, compared to any single toons.

Naturally, as you get more tools the play will improve.
For now, concentrate on leveling up -- whether that is questing, battlegrounds, instances or pumpkin collections.
Earthbind, combined with Thunderstorm is very nice.
Five minute Fire Elementals is good AoE against melee cleave or anyone in melee range.
Healing Stream totems and Chain Heal or focused fast heals on whoever it getting hit is good.
Stoneclaw totem, for the damage prevention shield can help.

Basically read all of your spells carefully, and think what can help a given situation.
Take into consideration, one after the other (round-robin).
As well as all of them at once.

I got my shams full visc gear before giving up on them in arenas. They are still viable in BGs, bit I'm still playing priest + 4DK right now. It sucks I'm like 40k HKs from 100k title on the shams.
