All Dell Ultrasharps are not equal.

I have an older 24inch Ultrasharp LCD and its amazing. You can view it from any angle and it looks great. I ordered two 22inch Ultrasharps from dell for my multiboxing and the Image quality is just not the same. They must have changed since I got my 24 because the viewing angle is terrible. If you dont look at it straight on the image looks like crap. I snagged these on sale for $280 each. I guess I can live with it. But you need to set them up facing you just right or you will be viewing a poor image. Has anyone else ran into this problem?

OK I cannot take the viewing angle. I got an RMA and these duds are going back to dell. What in the hell did they do to the Ultrasharp?

It's probably due to the 160 degree viewing angle. The new Dell 24" is 178 Degrees (horizontal and vertical). Though I think the older/cheaper 24" (E248) is 160 degrees as well.

Numbers and degrees aside, maybe they are just low quality panels?

Yes they are TN panels and not the nice panel that is in my 24inch. Damn those cheap TN panels.
