crashes with version 1.8d

Hey,

I've been using keyclone without problems for a few days and I updated to version 1.8d yesterday (not sure which one i had before) and got 2 crashes yesterday.
Basically keyclone would freeze and not broadcast any key, I have to kill it with the task manager.
I noticed it happened after I use pause to stop broadcasting (i use pause when i want to chat with someone else), got 2 crashes yesterday then I stopped using pause and didnt get any more crash.

Note: I have used pause with the previous version without any problem with the same hardware setup.

v1.8e is now available and should take care of any issues relating to the override overlay

if you still the those issues with v1.8e, please let me know

You can also just hide the pause icon. So you just end up hearing sound.

I don't mind seeing the pause icon, actually i like to see it.
It's with the 1.8d I can't use it otherwise it crahses. I'll get the 1.8e when I get back home tonight and see if it fixes the problem.

So I installed version 1.8e yesterday but still have the same problem.
Any ideas?

no idea. please verify you only have 1 keyclone running (if need be, reboot to be absolutely sure). after that, what other software are you running on the box? the new overlay adds almost no load on the cpu and should not interfere.

more info will help me resolve the issue.

Here is my setup:

1 desktop for my main
1 laptopn for my 4 clones

When I press pause on my desktop to chat with someone, keyclone on the laptop will crash (not everytime but 20-30% of the time).
I kill it and restart it, reconnect with the desktop and it's all good.

Note: To connect the 2 keyclones, I use the connect feature from the laptop with my desktop ip address.
