No, I thought the whole point of FTL was that they would automatically assist whatever guy was the focus.
The F in FTL stands for "focusless". The FTL system as implemented in ISBoxer will assist whichever character is active.

Anyway, I think the fix for you is simple:
    1. In your FTL Assist Me Mapped Key, under Advanced in the bottom left pane, change "World of Warcraft: Use FTL Modifiers" from "Off" to "On".
    2. Then, you'll also need to change the Key Combination from Ctrl+Shift+Alt+G to something without modifers. Backspace is a good candidate, or an unused F key (but not F4).

This will result in the following macro being generated:
    /assist [nomod]player;[nomod:alt,mod:lshift,nomod:ctrl]Stormshade;[nomod:alt,mod:rshift,nomod:ctrl]Sacredfury;[nomod:alt,nomod:shift,mod:lctrl]Bladewraith;[mod:lalt,nomod:shift,nomod:ctrl]Shadowrune;[nomod:alt,mod:lshift,mod:lctrl]Frostphantom

That should fix it. Make sure the ISBoxer addon is being loaded for all your characters.

Let me know what fails to happen if that doesn't work.

Oops, used the wrong term there. I was using the word "focus" to mean whichever window was the currently active window (I was thinking about "focus follows mouse". Anyway, thanks for the correction, I was thinking the right thing

Well, I'm not sure exactly why, but that fix worked!!! Thanks so much for taking the time to help me out. So I guess the problem is that the FTL Assist Me key map was associated with something that had Shift in the key combination? It would have taken me a long, long time to get to that level of troubleshooting. Guess I was on the right track thinking that Alt-Backspace might have had something to do with the issue, but never thought to look at the other key sequence also somehow associated in the bowels of FTL Assist Me.

Again, thanks a ton Alge (and everyone else who helped out)! My issue is solved!

It was a combination of two things: having a key combination that included a modifier and not having FTL modifiers on. Glad to hear it is working.

If you want to know why that works...
http://isboxer.com/wiki/RIFT:Basic_M...os_Walkthrough describes a manual FTL setup for RIFT which should give you a feel for what is going on.

looks like you got it sorted mercurio
FYI I have my assist bound to the "right arrow" key and follow bound to the "left arrow" key. I chose these keys because I rarely use them.
