New Multi-Boxer, Hello
Hiya dual-boxers! I’ve read through your forums, purchased another WOW account, installed Keyclone, commandeered both my wife and son's accounts, and I am happy to say that ya’ll sucked me in like a Hoover.
Started 4-boxing with a shammy and 3 hunters and I’m having the time of my life in the game once again. Decided to start from scratch on a server I don’t have any characters on and grow from there. SO far RFC, WC, SFK, and BFD are now notches on the bedpost and RFD is next.
Anyways, just wanted to say hey and looking forward to sharing my experiences with ya’ll and reading about yours.
Some things I have learned so far…
- If the clones are on follow and the main pulls a noob stunt by falling off the edge in TB, all the clones are lemmings and fall to their death also.
- A pet can freak out in SFK and target a mob up the walkway, around 2 corners and down another set of stairs and agro EVERYTHING back to your party…
- IMO, shammies should be able to “pop” regardless of level once the party enters SFK (reason being stated above) for multi-boxers.
- Clones won’t melee if the target is behind them.
- It’s entirely possible to be looking at a monitor with all 4 windows fully displayed and not even notice a pat coming up behind the party and killing a clone before you even realize it.
- And last but not least, never, never-ever, I mean NEVER try to “make it” on to a descending elevator with the clones on follow…
