Hey everyone - i just started boxing on Al'Akir EU over the weekend , can only tri box on my current pc so I started a Priest / Lock / Lock team. (lv 15 today
I have a 60 priest i retired pre TBC and a 70 lock (plus an old 60 retired), so i am familiar with the classes in terms of solo play - just wondered if there was a preffered tactic for multi boxing.
On my old warlocks i was always a complete affliction freak (I have never even had a felguard, ever), but with a pocket healer and double firepower I was leaning towards the demo/destro trees.
My current plan is to level one lock to improved Voidwalker / unholy power (having a semi viable tank for levelling), and set the other down the destro tree to at least shadow(shard)burn. Holy for the priest to start with.
At the moment my setup is proving to be pretty good on high level single targets (lv22 mobs in duskwood going down - not easy though), and amazing vs multi mob pulls (same level) SO LONG AS I CAN KEEP THE MOBS IN FRONT OF ME.
And that's the major problem, if i aggro anything from behind , or a mob somehow gets in a position where both my locks & an imp cant focus fire on it due to facing the wrong way things get really messy.
I was planning on starting a Palla / Mage / Mage team , but i can see
similar problems (ofc the pala tank can reposition mobs while taking
hits , something my preist cant do)
I am also starting to think that it will become a major achilles heel in PvP (where people do tend to run/jump around a lot)
Any pro tips on this or is it just a case of learning to deal with these situations?
