PiP Request

So, like most people I LOVE PiP (Except I think it should be called TiTs, because that is what it is... TITS!). I have one little issue.

You see I am lazy. I know it's a failing but really I am too old to change now.

Here is the situation.

This is the way my screen looks with Keyclone's Maximizer.


Each number represents an instance of WoW. The large area, in which the number 1 currently resides is my main "driving" screen. This is the only screen that I have ANY hope of doing anything except for the mundane things like quest clicking. I can't read off the other regions and I certainly can't drive off them.

Okay, so the toon on WoW 1 dies, I have to switch WoW 2 to the main screen and continue the fight. Simple, I just hit the corresponding hotkey for WoW 2 (while being focused in the main screen) and BAM!



SWEET! Exactly what I expected. This is AWESOME SAUCE on steroids. I can now drive on my main screen with WoW2 and continue the fight. Now the toon on WoW2 dies (I know! How could this be possible? I'm a multiboxer for god's sake! That means WIN). I need to switch to WoW 3 and drive from that toon.. but I can't just hit the keybind for that region. If I did I would get this:

I can certainly achieve this with the way PiP behaves now. But it takes hitting more buttons and making sure focus really is on the main screen.
I don't want to have to put 2 back in it's proper place before calling 3. I just want to be able to call 3 and have 2 automatically go back to it's proper place.

Let's put up the original layout now... but this time the numbers are REGIONS instead of instances of WoW.


Region 1 is the most important region. I am never going to be focused on region 3 and say "hey, I need the wow from region 4 over here quick". Region 1 is where it all happens. Region 1 is god.

So I don't need to be able to call anything from Region 1 to another region... ever. I am calling things TO region 1.

I hope I explained this well enough you guys get what I am talking about. If I did, what do you guys think?

the intent was that you would glance over, see the guy in screen 3 is still alive, and just switch him... which would swap the current screen with that screen.

your thinking that the same clones are always in the same spot, unless your main is swapped with them.

hmmm. right now, i just swap 2 regions... whatever region you are currently in with the desired region. i'm not tracking which clone goes where.. it's region based.

anyone else have any thoughts on this? which way would you prefer it?

The problem I have is when I swap regions, I have to remember to swap it back before swapping to another otherwise the regions get all mixed up and I can't remember which characters are in what regions. Maybe I'm just using it wrong, I have a one screen setup with 4 regions, 3 small windows at the top and 1 large main window.

Using this as a base, Lets say that F1-F5 are tied to the regions based on their number 1-5...

I load accounts A-E into 1-5 respectively...

I press F1 nothing happens... that would be because F1 is currently occupying the right region.
I press F2, F1 flips to F2 and F2 occupies F1's region... this is how it currently operates...
I then press F3, what I'd like is F1 to go to F3, F2 to go BACK to F2 and F3 to come to F1 which is where my focus remains.

Basically I agree that having each account where it was originally loaded is vital to the successful use of this technology!

I call this Better Operational Organization Based on Selection... Please implement BOOBS as soon as possible!

love keyclone, love this new feature. But ya this set-up is akward once you've moved the screens around a lot.

love the new pip but this feature would be awesome. I think most people using the PiP feature have a large window for their main and several smaller windows. Region 1 is usually my only concern when using the pip feature. you got my vote!
