old computer seemed fine for 5-boxing WoW if you use low-medium video settings

But the new computer should run WoW decently, but you might still have to turn down the video settings for things to be smooth.

Just curious why buy an "AMD Phenom II X6 1090T" instead of a "intel 2500k"? I would of went the intel route for better IPC performance in single threaded applications, unless you needed the extra cores for crunching numbers or vmware.

I was also wondering myself why anyone would go with an AMD proc right now, given how much faster the Sandy Bridge procs are. My 2500k absolutely SCREAMS and is cake to overclock. I love being able to 5-box on a 30" monitor (full resolution on all 5 windows) at 60/30fps with "good" settings.

Check pages 9 and 10 for a comparison of AMD and Intel procs for Cataclysm. Also keep in mind that this was BEFORE Sandy Bridge procs.
