    Default Smite Spec Priest Macros

I use smite spec for my Priest 4 Blood DK team. It's pretty nice in heroic and I use it in BH25 man with my guild. This is a two step macro.

Step One - Main DPS Spam Button - I have it click my Right Button 10 which is the third square from the bottom on the first bar on your right side of the screen.

    /stopmacro [channeling]
    /click MultiBarRightButton10
    /castsequence [target=targettarget] prayer of mending
    /cast power infusion
    /use 13
    /use 14
    /use 16

Multibar Right Button Macro - You can put a # on the holy fire if you want. I use it in 5 mans because of the Glyph of Smite which does 20% more damage to targets inflicted with holy fire. I disable this in BH25.

    /stopmacro [channeling]
    /cast holy fire
    /cast archangel

Step Two - This is setup so I can cast a hymn without interruption from spamming my dps button.

    /stopmacro [channeling]
    /cast smite
“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?”

I thought I would add my macro for critique:

    Step 1:
/stopmacro [channeling] #avoid interupting a manual hymn (typically)
    /stopmacro [@mouseover, exists,help] #stops the macro if I am manually targeting
    /cast [@tank,exists,nodead] Power Word: Shield

    Step 2:
    /stopmacro [channeling]
    /stopmacro [@mouseover, exists,help]
    /cast [@tank,exists,nodead] Prayer Of Mending

    Step 3:
    /stopmacro [channeling]
    /stopmacro [@mouseover, exists,help]
/cast [harm] Holy Fire (4.1 will greatly improve HF so I have it in now)

    Step 4:
    /stopmacro [channeling]
    /stopmacro [@mouseover, exists,help]
    /cast [harm] Smite
    /cast Archangel
    /cast Power Infustion
    /use 13
    /use 14

This essentially keeps Power Word Shield, Prayer of Mending on the Tank when the cooldown / debuff is ready. This also keeps Holy Fire on the target on cooldown and simply smites any other time

I then use ISBoxer regions when I mouse over a target to issue a command of /stopcasting and since each macro has a condition to check if a mouseover exists I enter full manual healing mode.

I may try that mouse over in my macro. I run 4 blood dk's so I dont really have a tank. I through manual shields out but that stopcasting mouse over looks like it would be a good way to keep my priest from casting as I spam the dps button. Can you tell me more about how it works? Will it work if I mouse over my grid layout? Or does it only work over the default party GUI?
“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?”

    I would be happy to explain;

I use grid and the isboxer repeater regions (sorry I am at work I forget the true name).

When you setup the repeater region you can set a macro to execute on enter. I set the macro to be executed to my stopcasting macro and I set the target of the macro to my priest only (keep thos dpsers dpsing). I am then in full manual mode and I heal as needed.

Once the mouse leaves the repeater region I am back on automatic mode.

I will try and make a video tonight that demostrates the actions.

Ok, here is the terribad video of the priest.

Notice the priest starts in auto heal mode (druid gets shield and prom) then i mouse over the grid and immediately the priest stops. I demonstrate the dps keep going as I am mashing the dps macro. Once I move off of the grid then the priest starts to auto heal again.

My /stopcasting macro is two step

    Step 1:
    a. wow macro with nothing but /stopcasting
    b. I disable my priests auto heal keymap

    Step 2:
    a. I enable the priest auto heal keymap

Let me know if you have any questions ... here is the vid link (don't laugh too hard)

Yeah I think thats how I set it up. Next time on Skype we can talk about it.
“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?”

This idea is brilliant. What a great way to compromise between the ease of the macroed healing and flexibility of full manual! You're my new hero for a day
