I think the reasons that some of those aspects of Keyclone are still in the "Scratching Head Phase" are as follows:
  • Keyclone (the Program) is a living organism on the fast track of evolution. Every time I turn around it has gained a bit more functionality. An in-depth, Step-By-Step instruction manual would have to reflect that.
  • Keyclone (the creator of the program) is a one man band and he actually has a job and a life outside of Keyclone (the program). So the amount of time that he can spend on his baby is spent a) Squashing Bugs or b) Improving Functionality. Writing a lengthy dissertation outlining every aspect of the program is not on the TOP of his To-Do list. Personally I wouldn't have it any other way. I can puzzle stuff out with the best of them and I would rather have his talents working on things like BOOBS and other features that will be released in the future.

The above two reasons are why Keyclone doesn't have a comprehensive how-to written by Keyclone (the man). Here are a few reasons why we here at Dual-Boxing.com haven't written that instruction manual for him.

  • We have... several times. And posted it. Sure it's not absolutely complete but it's enough to get you started. But no matter how indepth anyone goes in writing this document, there is always someone who refuses to read it. That can get a bit discouraging.
  • The reason it's not as indepth as it could be? I think my answer for that will be the same as others.... I got it working! Now I am going to PLAY WoW! Not sit down and write an epic poem about how to do it under every conceivable configuration.

I think once the Wiki gets fully up to speed we as a community can help Keyclone (da man) and fully document his wonderful program and all it's subtleties... yep, we can do that. Doesn't mean people will read it.
