Thread: Mouse Repeater

    Default Mouse Repeater

    Hello,

I want to know if this is possible since everything I have tried to this point does not work.

    1st PC - Full Window 1920 1200
2nd PC - 4 Windows, I want each window to be 1920 1200 so addons line up correctly.

The above part I have. My problem then becomes mouse repeater. Is there a way to get mouse repeating to line up properly in each window?

    Thanks.

If each warcraft account is rendered at the same resolution.
And you have instant-swap checked under layouts.

    They should line up perfectly.
Such that the x/y coordinate for any given window would be exactly the same in any other window.

I know the software doesn't broadcast to a given x/y location.
But if the resolutions are the same and instant-swap is checked it should basically be the same in every window.

I have instant swapping set on machine two. It wouldn't be set on machine 1 I dont believe because I can't swap between machines.

Whats also strange is the four different sized windows on machine 2 all work fine. They move together even though machine 1 is not matching them.

    Thanks.

To set the actual resolution for the game:
    1. Select your Window Layout in the top pane
    2. Select "Regions" in the bottom left pane
    3. Right click the preview area in the bottom right pane and select New Region
    4. Place it at the upper left corner of the screen
    5. Set the size of this region to the desired resolution -- in this case 1920x1200
    6. In the bottom right pane click on the Swap Groups tab
    7. In Swap Group 1 (selected by default) change the 'Reset' region option to be this new Region. This is what ISBoxer will try to use for the resolution before moving each window into position. If you had 5 regions and now added 6, the region you sized should say 6 and would be Region 6. Select that here.
    8. Close out the game if it's running, and Export. If you're playing WoW or a few other games, ISBoxer will offer to fix the resolution stored in the virtualized config files for you. You might have to export specifically on that PC for it to pop up the box.

If you're on Windows Vista or 7 with Aero enabled, you can use the Full Screen Stacked layout for the second PC instead (this would put the res of the game at the same res as the monitor by default), and use Video Feeds to show the other windows or views from them. You can also add a blank window to do this in: http://isboxer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=1222

I like the idea of stacked screens. How can you swap between which screen is up?

This is for WoW and Windows 7.

    w1, w2, w3 ,w4.

w1 is full screen. How can I on the fly swap to lets say w4? Then when w4 is full screen swap to w 3?

Currently I use a swap key but that doesnt seem like it will work since I can't hover over the other screen.

    Thanks.

Nevermind. Character set to set that slot activate key.

    Thanks for everyone's responses.
