Default mogz frost dk and is boxer

my computer died pre cataclysm and work took over. Now i have some holidays and am returning to wow and wanting to run with a melee set up. I use ISboxer and am fairly noobish with it.

I was hoping someone could give me a step by step guide to setting up MOGZ 4 frost DK set up - the original lvl 80 one as i will start my DK's from scratch and level them up.

I have worked out how to program IWT into my DPS keys with much thanks to Uaala's post explaining how.

But when it comes to working the rest i am totally lost at this idea of one button hitting multiple slots with a simple up / down press of the spacebar. I know its quite time consuming to explain this step by step to a total noob like myself, but if someone could kindly take the time to guide me i would be forever grateful.

Setting up the mind freeze round robin within that looks great too.

So yeah, i have read through all the threads i could find on this, and get the general gist of what he is doing, but have no idea how to actually configure ISboxer to do what he does.

    any help appreciated.

    Also check - http://www.dual-boxing.com/showthread.php?t=37658

We're basically modifying a bunch of DPS keys to be very different from most other sets.
So I would make a new Keymap for the team.

Right Click on Keymaps in the Toolkit.
And create a new Keymap called DK Team, or something similar.

Then scroll up some, to your character sets.
And click on the character set for your 4x Dk / 1x Healer team.

On the bottom left pane, left click on Keymaps.
Drag the newly made Keymap: DK Team down to Keymaps so it applies to your new team.
I would remove the FTL DPS keymap from this team.
Which should leave you with Control, General and DK Team.
In the right pane, click the middle option to White List keymaps.
And then check that those three are selected, but nothing else.

Left click on the Control Keymap in the top pane.
Expand the Activate Maps mapped key, in the bottom left pane and click on the first step.
In the bottom right pane, right click on General Keymap On > All, and right-click copy that.
Right-click on actions and paste it.
Next, we edit the the newly copy/pasted action.
Change the target from Windows All With Current to your DK Team's character set.
If it doesn't appear in the drop down list, you can click the asterisk to the right of the drop down menu and set it to your DK's character set.
Do the same on Step 2, as we did on Step 1.
Now our mapped key (in the Control Keymap) will enable/disable our DK Specific mapped keys, just like it does all of the others.

In the top pane, expand Keymaps.
Left click on FTL DPS Keys.
Then in the bottom left pane, right click on Mapped Keys and copy to clipboard.
Navigate (select in the top pane) your DK Team Keymap, and paste the keys there.

Now you can make changes to the DK Team Keymap, and they won't impact your other teams.

    The Pieces:

Right click on Mapped Keys (within the DK Team Keymap) and make a new one called Mind Freeze.
    It doesn't need a hotkey.
Give it four steps (right click on Steps in the lower left pane, to create more), because we have four DK's on the team.
In the bottom right pane, check the boxes Do Not Advance, For At Least, and set the time to 2.5 or 2.6 seconds for each step.
Set the target for a different DK for each step.
Send the Keybind to Warcraft for your Mind Freeze button.

We need to make Mapped Keys, for the DK abilities.
The DK's will end up with five abilities they want to spam (Blood Strike, Frost Strike, Howling Strike, Necrotic Strike, and Obliterate)
They don't need hotkeys to activate.
Each will send a Keystroke Actions > New Keystroke Action > The Keybind, to Target: Current Window.
    Name them something like:
    - Keybind A
    - Keybind B
    - Keybind C
    - Keybind D
    - Keybind E

The keybinds don't really matter, aside from not using Alt + F4.
Mosg2 uses variations of F9, like Alt F9, Shift F9, etc.
    I use Shift F1, Shift F2, Shift F3, etc.

Each of these ends up looking like this:
    Mapped Key: Keybind A
    Hotkey: None
    Steps: 1
Keystroke Actions > New Keystroke Action > Relevant Warcraft Keybind > Target Current Window.

I personally use DPS 1 and DPS 2 as my spam keys.

The Paladin will have two healing macros.
In all our spammed sequences, the keybind for the first macro is sent to the Paladin on Step 1 and the keybind for the second macro is sent to the Paladin in Step 2.

Create an Action Target Group for your DK's.
Right click on Action Target Group, and make a new one.
Rename it DK's, or something similar.
From the character pane, in the top window drag each of your DK's down to this Action Target Group.

    Start with DPS 1.
DPS 1 is my Howling Blast priority sequence.

Select DPS 1, I'd rename it something like DPS 1 - Howling Blast Spam.
Set it to execute a step on press or release.
    Give it another step.
    It now has two steps.

Step one has the default actions: FTL Assist & sending the "1" keystroke to all windows.
Delete the keystroke action that sends 1 to all windows.

In Step one, after FTL Assist, we will add:
    - Keymap Actions > Do Mapped Key Action > (In DK Keymap) Mind Freeze, Target: Current Window
    - Keymap Actions > Do Mapped Key Action > (In DK Keymap) Keybind A, Target: DK's (the Action Target Group)
    - Keystroke Actions > New Keystroke Action > Send your Warcraft IWT Keybind to Target: DK's (the Action Target Group)
    - Keystroke Actions > New Keystroke Action > The Keybind for the Paladin's first Healing Macro, to Target: The Paladin

The order for these does not matter, as long as they're after the FTL Assist Me.

    In Step two, we add:
    - Keymap Actions > Do Mapped Key Action > (In DK Keymap) Keybind A, Target: DK's (The ATG)
    - Keymap Actions > Do Mapped Key Action > (In DK Keymap) Keybind B, Target: DK's (The ATG)
    - Keymap Actions > Do Mapped Key Action > (In DK Keymap) Keybind C, Target: DK's (The ATG)
    - Keymap Actions > Do Mapped Key Action > (In DK Keymap) Keybind D, Target: DK's (The ATG)
    - Keymap Actions > Do Mapped Key Action > (In DK Keymap) Keybind E, Target: DK's (The ATG)
    - Keystroke Actions > New Keystroke Action > The Keybind for the Paladin's second Healing macro, to Target: The Paladin

The number of Warcraft Keybinds you use is optional.
I believe Mosg2 uses six in his videos.

For my Howling Blast (DPS 1)...

    On Press
    - FTL Assist
    - Mind Freeze
    - IWT
    - Howling Blast

    On Release
    - Howling Blast
    - Frost Strike
    - Frost Strike
    - Necrotic Strike
    - Blood Strike

DPS 2, will be pretty much the same.
    Just different abilities.

    I use:

    DPS 2 - Obliterate Spam

    On Press
    - FTL Assist
    - Mind Freeze
    - IWT
    - Obliterate

    On Release
    - Obliterate
    - Blood Strike
    - Frost Strike

so we end up with two dps buttons that click a whole bunch of other buttons. in what way do u cycle between dps1 and 2? as in do u just mash dps 1 for awhile then mash dps 2 for a bit then back and forth like that?

If you watch his videos, or click the link towards the top of my previous post.

    We basically have...
    - Howling Blast (AoE) spam, versus groups; or
    - Obliterate (Single-Target) spam.

Usually combine the Obliterate with Hungering Cold, which is a point-blank AoE crowd control similar to a Hunter's freezing trap.
Mosg2 has his, built into his second DPS rotation.
Mine would be on a round-robin, on a separate key.

I generally start with DPS 1, and that is my go-to DPS.
But if things are a little too much, in battlegrounds... I move to the Hungering Cold to break the opposition into manageable numbers, and then Obliterate for single target kills.

In Arena, I've been running mostly 2's to gear the team a bit.
My primary is Obliterate, it hits single targets a lot harder.
And usually it is two DPS both beating on the same target, as two other DPS (or Heals + DPS) focus on one of my team (me or partner).
The anti-CC cooldowns and my own Hungering Cold are primary tools in arena.

If they're at range, only the Howling Blast is an option really.
But you could go with Death Coil as a ranged runic power dump.
And of course one Death Grip per DK on the team.

played around with uaala's instructions here in setting up this kind of configuration. I get it now! i am still leveling my DK's - 3 at 60 and one at 65. So i tried to do a version of that set up for my brothers 3 lvl 80 enhancement shaman.

and god damn, this way of doing it is so awesome, dramatic increase in DPS from my old shitty macros. i can't believe how effective this is in hitting the abilities right when they are off cooldown.

Instead of mind freeze round robin i substituted a wind shear round robin which works very well. My brother asked if i could build in his maelstrom procs, which u can't really do. But then i realised as long as you are moving all the time in pvp - as u do with IWT spam - then you can just chuck a lightning bolt into the spam key and as long as your moving it will automatically cast an instant lightning bold when 5 procs are reach on each char. I tried this in a BG and it works really well.

My love is with the DK's at the moment though. logged into a BG at 59 with all the DK starting gear and soloed a whole WSG team with my 3 dks in their flag room. DKs are so OP at that lvl in that gear lol.

Uaala i was wondering how much your rotation will change with the new changes on the PTR.

    In particular this:
    • Blood of the North (passive) now permanently converts both Blood Runes into Death Runes. There is no longer any proc interaction with Blood Strike required to activate Death Runes.
I am assuming it means you take blood strike completly out of the equation? does it mean you howling blast more? with two death runes at default?

Howling blast single target dmg is also buffed by 20% with the extra death runes available would u still use your obliterate spam for your highest dps dump on a player or do you think simply howling blasting spam would be closer now?

I'm planning on removing Blood Strike from the action bar.
And on removing anything inside of IS Boxer, which sends the keybind to where it was.

    So my HB will be:
    Down
    - HB
    Up
    - HB
    - FS
    - FS
    - NS

    And my Obliterate will be:
    Down:
    - OBL
    Up:
    - OBL
    - FS

With an extra two Death Runes, and no Blood Runes.
We lose the need to Blood Strike twice per ten seconds, and this is our weakest ability.

In its place, every 10 seconds we gain one of these extras:
    - 1x Obliterate
    - 2x Howling Blast
    - 2x Necrotic Strike
    - 1x Howling Blast + 1x Necrotic Strike

The AoE on Howling Blast is being changed so it hits about as hard as it does currently.
But the single target portion is getting a boost.

And Frost Strike is going from 110% weapon damage to 130%, which will be nice too.
