What we DO need is a "I am new and I want to just get started, what do I need" section.
This would be great.. Has anyone ever establised the true "minimum" computer requirement to 5 box on a single machine? I know there are other factors, but I believe if there were a Multibox basic set up that wasn't as cost prohibitive more people would be interested.
I think the Rig section I'm trying to start should handle the minimum requirements bit. I think there are too many variables to make a simple guide to say it all. By posting as many of our setups as possible people can extrapolate where they're at vs. what's proven to work. Everybody comes into this with some hardware we've seen setups ranging from 5 individual boxes to single quad core boxes now. Full hardware broadcasting to full software, etc.
I like the one you have made and i think everyone should invest the time and do so aswell, its a good layout has good info and when finished with pics it will be a great source for information.
p.s dont forget to add IRL photos so we can put a face to to it;P

ATM it is not possible to upload any kind of images to the wiki
Tried it yesterday cause I wanted to add some icons to the Main Page

Hopefully Ellay will fix it in the next days.

What I would love to have would be the community portal for "internal things" like ToDo Lists and Wiki Howtos to get people as fast as possible started with wikifying their content

I think a good guideline for software boxing is each WoW should ideally have 1 core and 0.75GB of RAM. You can get by with less, but you will suffer on framerates. For graphics, maybe we could have a list of cards that should be able to handle 2, 3, 4, etc clients. For example:

    4 clients-
    Nvidia 8800 Ultra
    Nvidia 8800 GTX
    Nvidia 8800 GTS 512 (G92)
    ATi 3870 X2

    3 clients-
    Nvidia 9600 GT
    Nvidia 8800 GT
    ATi 3870
    ATi 3850

    2 clients-
    Nvidia 8600GT

    etc...

    1. I added a quick FAQ that ends in a few links...
    2. I added a TOC and ordered the page a bit in to sections as recommended by sanctume
    3. I forgot to add comments for half of the edits...
    4. Feel free to roll back anything I did, I ain't too proud lose any of that stuff.

i removed the level70 gear guide, it was going to be long and not all that great. I have got klrwlf to add the links to wow-loot.com to the class selection, maybe ill make a simplified version later on.

I think we need to lock it down to users only not anon changes. I took the liberty of removing the trash.

I have started a Human Interface Device section, just populated with G15/11 and X-keys but it is a start.

I also imported some of the mediawiki help pages. This should help people with mediawiki wiki script
