    Default 10 boxing group composition

    Hi,

After having boxed 4 chars for a few years, I plan to start boxing 10 chars. My focus is mainly PvP in battleground but I also want to raid 10 mans. I would appreciate your suggestion about group composition.

I feel 9 priests (+1 tank) with Halo or Cascade would be deadly.

Also, how do you think 8 locks (+2 healers) would perform. I feel 8 soulburn seed of corruptions (afflict Corruption on all enemy targets) would decimate any group of enemies as long as they are close to each others.

Those will only work in BGs, for 10 man raid you will need 2 tanks, 2 healers, possibly 1 off-heal, the rest dps.

Ya , you need 2 tanks for the current 10 man raid. Unless you significantly out geared the content, then you might get away with just 1 tank. At the current stage of pvp, spriest > warlock in pretty much every way, personally, i would pick spriests as dps.

I'm in the process of RAF boosting.
I have the one team on Magtheridon (via paid faction/server transfer), which is my new home.
And am planning on 10-boxing, and am using RAF to get several full teams on the server.

    ABCDE there now.
    RAF is:
    A>F & B>G
    C>H & D>I
    E>J
(I'm in the ABFG phase now).

My focus is pretty much entirely PvP.
Battlegrounds will mostly be AV and IoC...
As well as opposite city raids... controlling their auction house was fun.

I want to set up each team as three configurations.
Ideally, so I can play 5-box, opposite 5-box, or 10-box without changing keys.
    Similar to the http://isboxer.com/wiki/HOWTO:Config...xer_like_a_pro

Not all of my compositions, allow enough toons for 1x Tank, 1x Heal, 3x DPS... out of the five toons.
So, instance leveling via Dungeon Finder will not be an option... although trash farming will be.

    The Kittens:
    - 10x Feral Druids
(Could play Moonkin too, but I love Feral and will really try to make this work).

    The Playmates:
    - 3x Frost Death Knights
    - 1x Blood Death Knight
    - 1x Holy Paladin
    - 5x Retribution Paladins
(The combination of my 4x DK/1x Paladin team, with my 5x Retribution team... could be 4x Frost or 1x Blood/3x Frost).

    Pestilence:
    - 7x Demo (or Destro) Warlocks
    - 3x Resto Druids
(Toying with one less Lock and a Priest for Fort and Mass Dispel).

    The Puppies:
    - 10x Resto Shaman
(Originally wanted 2x Tanks with a Ranged DPS spec and 8x Shaman, two of which would off-spec heals... but like 10x Shaman, and Resto is in a better position than Elemental).

    The Forsaken:
    - 10x Disc Priests
(This is more for having additional toons available for tradeskills, then to be an active pvp team).
    EverQuest I: Bard / Enchanter / Druid / Wizard / 2x Magician.
    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.

I'm on mag's too, and DK/Pally groups are all over the place. I'm leveling up 5 pallies/5 dks [right now ret/unholy, but that will probably change]

for pure PVP; Oath's 10x hunters looks successful, and I ran across another one of those in BGs, it will probably be my next team.

And I'm toying with the idea of doing 10x monks, just because.

Anything I do beyond that will probably end up being for tradeskills.

Similar situation to Ualaa; except I'm still leveling my 'main' team and haven't started the RAF craziness yet. Also unwilling to give up my existing toons on another server; so keeping all 10 accounts. Which will make RAFing 2-3 new teams interesting...

running prot pally, 8enh sham, and resto druid works very well I was runnin 9 enh and 1 resto druid and worked pretty damn well but i wanted a tank. shams having maelstrom procs w/chain heal keeping all my guys up and in wtfmates situations i have 9 healing tide totems drop 3 at a time healing 5 lowest raid members for 30-50k a second. Resto druid uses my standard heal setup spamming wild growth when up and on focus rejuv -> Swiftmend -> 3x Lifebloom. 9 fear totems on round robin, and capacitor totems set on 6 second interval on 2 step. Also have 2 earth bind totems on 25 sec 2step robin and 4 wind walk totems on 10 sec interval round robin. Just got full offset and have crafted pvp enh set for all shamans and already able to win 10 man bgs. Cant wait till i get fully geared and better weapons than the greens i found on ah lol.
on cd pop shams use spirit wolves, ascendance, and elemental mastry. can blow up all 10 opposing players in under 20 seconds easy. so much fun. I need to start filmin this action.

Haha, awesome. I'm leveling my second shaman group now. I think 10 times halo would be stuck. I've seen it hit really hard. Would be awesome to wipe the opposing team in one spell.

Stuck = sick, but my phone is having trouble changing it back
