World PvP

so im thinking we need to start that again i miss the days of thrallmar raiding for hours. i know we have a few teams that can do it that are pvp geared and then even the pve ppl can do it to. im thinking maybe the weekend after IoC CTA that should give me and kenshin enough time to lvl our new teams to 85 to come help on them

post up any ideas of what to raid and times and what your bringing.

World PvP is quite dead. However if you want to stir the pot go attack TB while Horde control and go down into the cave/dungeon where that daily is and camp the shit out of it. Would likely be epic lulz since no one on the horde seems to know how to counter you guys.

The problem with World PvP on KJ is that Ruinous has destroyed it. Horde just don't give a shit anymore because they know if they kill a ruinous member 15 will be inbound in less than 5 minutes. It's just not worth it after a while. The best PvP I've seen since cataclysm release has been in TB while questing. It's really awesome to see how fast you gain friends when you help someone that's getting ganked.

It's funny you say that Svpr- Rofl, Kang and I were in TB last night just ganking everyone - hoping horde would put together a group of pissed off people to attack us. So they sorta started to get a group together, but then nothing happened really. I was hoping the 10 box lock and the 5 box pally would show, but they were probably not on or busy.

I'm not a big fan of ganking everyone you see, but that seems to be the only way to get the opposing faction stirred up enough to get a posse together.

The best fight I had last night was when I attacked a group of 8 horde with my 4dks' and 1pally. I ended up killing them all, with all my guys at 10% health. So I got the hell out of there quick.

Actually, I count on runious showing up, cuase I like play the person more than I play the character and im getting closer to their stress points. the locks are a rallying point that is embraced well on horde side this server. thats why kicksome's dks + pally, and all the others ran away or died on the bridge about 30 seconds before the queue proc. its things like that that make me glad I have a horde team on this server. I honestly thought I was going to have to do a boxer specific macro for kicksome, but I now see his stress points and how I can effectively engage the team. the stat could not change a bit and still become more effective as the weeks roll on.

I would agree with you that the horde have lost their spine. When I created my first Alliance team on this server last spring I remember BCJ camping the stormwind mage tower/stocks entrance for hours. I don't think anyone has done a FTH since Cata came out.

I just don't think blizzard wants people to be raiding main cities anymore, though IDK why not, especially if its a pvp server. I know that I don't like it that the only way to kill a city leader is by bringing multiple 40 man raids and lagging out the battlefield.

If they don't want the ingame commerce interuppted, they should just make those vendor / auctioneers / inkeepers/ quardtermaster npc's untargetable / undamageable
