Default Cannot load wow on second monitor without problems

Ok I hooked up a 17inch dell crt to my ATI X1950XTX card. I dont know if I have a setting wrong on the video setup or what. If I open keyclone and set 1 account to open up full screen on the second display it totally bogs down the pc. This is with nothing else open. I open 1 account on that screen and it becomes so choppy you cannot do anything. I dont know what could be causing this. My machine is a 6600 Duo 4gig ram and the video card is X1950xtx 512meg. It has to be a setting for the second display. Doing normal windows functions do not start the choppy lag on the second monitor. But if I move or open any wow on that screen it becomes a unplayable.

    Any suggestions?

Is this with another account running at the same time on main screen?

Is this with main screen blank and just wow on second?

Does this happen if you move this account to main screen. Flip them around to test.

    Little weird.

This happens with 1 acccount open. Nothing else running on the pc fresh boot. I can open up 1 account windowed on my main display and then drag it to the second display and it becomes so choppy you can hardly close it down. Likewise, I can open 1 wow on the second display and its choppy. Anytime wow gets opened or moved to the second display it becomes choppy. This is driving me nuts. I just downloaded the new drivers from ATI that came out Feb 13, 2008. I know this video card can handle opening something on a second display.

Not using XP are you ? If so, that's the problem, but I'm sure you checked this already..

Strange indeed:/... Maybe check what program starts using a heck lot of mem / cpu when you try and run the second WoW? just contrl alt del and check

Try horizontal span to make it "one" monitor and move it to that screen.

If it is still choppy then i would lean more towards the CRT.

Speaking of horizontal span are you using that or dual view?

after searching for a few hrs I finally found a fix. I searched google and then found a post on these forums with people having the same problem. It seems the only fix is to set my view to strech which makes it look like total shit. The main is a 24inch wide screen and the crt is 17inch non wide screen. I can get wow to display fine on the 17 but my desktop is trashed. The only use for it would be to play wow. Before I had it set to extend to monitor 2. So I can drag my mouse off the right side and go to monitor 2.

What I dont understand is how all these people are 5boxing with multi monitors if you have to fubar your desktop in order to get it to play. All the screenshots I view of peoples setups look clean and not like my streched desktop. I have win xp pro. Any suggestions on how to make this work without having to look at a distorted desktop?
