There is nothing on Win7 that will cause this. Make sure you have Octopus set up for Run As Admin on both or neither. If one is set to run as admin and the other isn't, they won't talk to each other properly. Also verify your KVM setup hasn't changed underneath you. Older configs where the monitor IDs have changed will cause this problem (and a few other really gnarly ones).

They asked for a fix to Octopus or an alternative. Ugh gave the fix, or at least troubleshooting steps that should fix OPs problems with Octopus.
