Hey all,
I, like many people who can't help but purchase shiny new equipment, have a lot of perfectly good computer equipment laying around that I would like to sell to a good home.
How about a Second Hand Gear Forum? So we can post items for sale?

It would be nice. I want to try some sort of X-keys but not sure how well it will work with Keyclone and my current setup.Originally Posted by 'The IT Monkey',index.php?page=Thread&postID=37488#post374 88
I'm not quite sure if I need extra keys, or perhapy try a Nostro-key.
I do have a Z-board which I don't use.

I'm up for it, I will look into it. Would like to place some requirements on it though such as a certain amount of posts required to actually place an item for sale. Sort of to weed out hopefully scams and whatnot.

Might be hard to do that just based on # of posts - someone could come in and tag every thread out there to build their count. Might need a rating / feedback system like ebay.

Theres no reason why people couldn't post links to ebay auctions, to ensure its more legitamate and prevent issues the board mods end up getting involved in.
Based on post count? Haha selling everything at half cost*! Whatever you want - cars, bridges in New York, jewelry, lunar real estate - you name it!
*Xzin disclaims any damages resulting from you never getting your items. Because seriously, if it's too good to be true, it probably is. Might be tough filtering by post count anyway.

Being the slightly more paranoid mindset, too easy to post links by griefers, that lead to trojans, and worse for us, keyloggers. Maybe a timed basis of being an active participant, is my thought. Hell if someone is going to waste 3-6 months on screwing us over... This way is one hopeful idea to limit those who might be cruising for easy prey. After some agreed upon time, they can post direct ads or links to craigslist/ebay. The original system of a handshake aka referrals by known people still works, too
One of the popular ways to keep track of feedback is heatware.
