    Default does anyone know a 'post-it' like addon?

    Looking for an addon that basically gives me a small notepad where I can save some text, and when I log another toon on the same account I can just pull the addon and see what I saved. Used mailbox but that's not very handy.

    It's mainly because I have my gbanks with mats on lowbie accounts. When I need to mail mats to the crafters it's always a hassle to remember what and how much I exactly need.

    Hmm, I have the same problem, but I use a different strategy.

    I tabulate all my resources into a spread sheet ( ores, herbs, leather, etc).

    Then I have all the mats required to level a profession listed and checked against what I actually have.

    If I have enough, then its green. If too little, its red - which tells me to buy / farm more.
    Altoholic makes it very easy to tabulate everything too. I wish there was a way to export everything to a spread sheet though.

    An alternative strategy, which I've used for years - is a pen and paper at my desk. Best game mod in existence

    I used to use different bankers.
    This one will have all my cloth, that one all my leather.
    And then wowhead with the banker, to see what the crafter needed.

    However, resources almost always sell for more than crafted goods, at least on my server.
    So my new approach for the last couple of years is to send the mats to my AH toon.
    Who then lists it.
    If I want something, she can almost always buy it (or advertise in trade - buying) for less than the mats.
    So just purchase and mail.

    Stupid that the economy works that way.
    But makes it much easier to acquire gear.

    @khatovar
    that is exactly what I needed, weird that my search didn't result in anything useful, guess i used the wrong terms, thanks for taking the effort to search

    it's not a matter of levelingl professions, but to craft and thus distribute from alts to crafters

    @ualaa
    well the markets I'm in give insane money for the crafted thing compared to the mats, have invested in quite a few rare recipes over time and they are really worth it

    typically I buy epics (like vp shoes) cheap on horde, 4-5k and sell them on alliance for double, their I buy cheap(er) mats (typically a few 10k worth) and ship them back to horde, distribute them to who needs it (gbank alts & miller/prospecter). once a week i'll restock on crafted items. main problem for me is that my 3 main crafters are toons I play solo in a large guild, so I check on them what I need to craft and what the required mats are (with TSM addon), and then have to log an alt to mail the stuff ... and the last 2 steps are actually the hardest if you have lets say 20 different crafts in several quantity to craft

    so the notepad addons are very handy here
