Default Would like assistance with an /assist party1 -- /petattack macro

Hey, I'm running around with two hunters, and it's great fun. One nuisance I've encountered:

    - When master (me, manually) clicks or tabs to a mob and sends in the pet, the slave, using this macro:

    /assist party1
    /petattack

    - needs two clicks. As in, every time I want to send my pets in on something, I need to click the same button twice.

Would like to know if there's anyway around this.

Do you wait a second after selecting the mob? It takes a second or so before /assist will pick up your new target.

.. and that's all there's too it. I got used to just cruising through it and didn't even think of that.. I have much to learn.. thanks : )

Don't feel bad I done the same thing. At first I would traget something with my main and could never get my macro to work that had the alt assist. Finally I realize I am an idiot and I had to give it a second to realize what the first char has as a target. So now I just use tab on my main to select target and use Q as my assist macro.
