Understood, and the reading I've done explains why (BS have crappy shield regen times, making passive regen fits untenable).
I'd like to have the most DPS I can get (obviously), along with the ability to survive random spawn DPS on something other than the main guy. Looking around a bit more and doing some theorycrafting with EFT, I think I have a fit that fits the bill for "semi-AFK" missioning.
This fit is cap stable at 51% running the booster plus one repper. They'll get about 792/sec total with 3 single reppers from the others, or in rooms like Angel Extravaganza Bonus pocket, he can warp in and start his booster and have the other 3 run both boosters on him for 1368/sec, which should be overkill.[Raven Spider Group]

With regards to DPS, upgrading to the above fit x4 would take me from about 179 on the drakes to 260ish, which is a decent upgrade. Once I'm more comfortable with things, I will probably get rid of the shield boosters and just stick with two reppers each, which will allow me to swap some damage mods back in.
[edit] I'm about 11 days of training from being able to fit the above.
