I tried the Phone Wireless route. Several times. The problem with that is...most places are still on 2G hardware even though they are saying its 3G service. Verizon was behind if I remember right on upgrading most of the cities. ATT is the leader in this, believe it or not, and they dont have all the cities yet as well. Only the very large metropolis really have 3G. Supposedly they will go 4 or 5G before they ever get 3G working up to specs. I am really disappointed with any of the phone companies here in the U.S. We are so far behind the rest of the world in wireless service in relation to the internet and consumer useage. Thanks for the advice but I have tried the full wireless route and had nothing but problems with speed. If your not in the 3G zone then you will get 2G service. And that sucks. BTW 2g is the reason alot of the new comm companies died in the 80s n 90s. No one wanted dialup service on their wireless(which was really slower than dialup) for a connection speed. Another thought just remembered, the problem with wireless are the antennaes they use at times to get to the internet. If they are still using 2G hardware, then guess what. You just jumped from 3G to 2G which can be as high as 250ms in packet transmission per antennae. This will add up if your tryin to get a good ping. I have even talked to the Techies on this and nothing can be done about it.
I personally think that the government should hold these companies acountable for sloppy service and false advertisement. Anyways, at 4am this morning, I tried to connect with keyclone and its still not seeing each other.
