    Default Noobs theoretical wonderings

Okey, i'd like to start this thread by saying Hello, i'm newly registered on this forum but i've been reading it as a guest for a while and found it very interesting.

    Now to the theories.

I'm thinking about starting to Dualbox, i have another unused CD key lying around at home and figured i'll try do something with it, I've read some guides here and figured I'll go with Keyclone, the cost is not a matter to me as i can get discounts through the (anonymous) company i work for.

I was figuring i should RAF with myself because anything else would be stupid, i'd probably put them on the same Battle.net account. I was thinking about going either Paladin/Priest/Shaman to heal and on the other account a Mage/SPriest/Druid/Warlock.

Which combination would you guys recommend? I'm going to be using keybinds to shoot spells on the ALT account and use healbot to heal on the Main account.

Since last patch (4.1) you can now send Heirlooms to other accounts that you have on your Battle.net account, so i was thinking about getting full Heirloom to the characters before I start the secound account, is there any tips you could give me here?

Is there generally ANY tips or guidelines you could give me, I'd probably level through going random instances?

I would suggest looking at ISBoxer. The cost is minimal and the features are beyond anything else I have seen.

I'd go for a disc priest which is very easy to heal with, easy to counter large splash dmg, so you can focus on dpsing on the other char! As the second char I'd go for either a mage, which gives good buffs and awesome dps, or a ele shaman for totems and good dmg! I find DPSing with a lock too hard to handle due to til many dots and rng. Ele shamans recipe; flame shock -> lava burst -> CL -> LB -> LB -> LB = win!

sounds like you have a "main" now. That is good for starting new toons in need of bags and gold. It does not help leveling when you dual box RAF. You can boost a second toon, which is another way to get higher toons quickly
RAF needs 2 toons at the same about level (2-3 levels) Start with 2 of anything, or try all the classes. Some will work better then others. Many say mages work well to start, and there are guides showing you how to set them up.
I also reccomend IS boxer, easy to set up and to play quickly with as many teams as you want to set up.
RAF Tour Guide files are obsolete, I went to Zygor
    MultiBoxers play with themselves

    Hi

Keyclone is fine as a key replicator if you just want to level toons but if you want to get serious then ISBoxer is a stronger choice. HKN is also a free alternative but needs scripting.

As for classes, you want to macro as much as possible, therefore proc-heavy classes are not ideal (saying that, I'm currently boxing enh shaman and fury warrior so it can be done, albeit poorly). I suggest you play with what you like as all classes are viable (and pretty much the same anyway). The only thing to bear in mind is if you want ranged DPS or Melee (melee can be more difficult due to facing mobs issues).

Because IWT is fairly consistently used with Melee teams, facing ends up being less of an issue with melee than with ranged.

Procs also aren't that difficult to deal with. My entire team is pretty proc heavy and I manage just fine with good macros and HKN's mouseover regions. I imagine it's just as easy with ISBoxer and live feeds and regions. Keyclone, however, will require additional macros and buttons.

Mostly you want to stay away from classes that require too much micro management. Classes that require too much positioning can be annoying, for example. Paladin healers have always been kinda iffy for boxers because they don't have much for AOE healing {though that may be different now, I haven't played healadin in over a year}. But pretty much everything is manageable as long as you have the patience to figure out strengths and weaknesses and how to work with or around them.

And most importantly, work with classes you enjoy. People always raved about how awesome mass elemental shamans were and I just could not stand them. I tried tons of same class teams and I was never really happy until I went for a mixed melee team, because that's how I like to roll.

No one has mentioned Jamba (a boxing addon, by Jafula).
Definitely take a look at it.
